This is the first time I've publicly shared the original Engage Disengage Game video I made for my private clients with my own dogs!

I hope it can help dog parents and dog trainers not only see the steps more clearly, but also feel the rhythm and co-regulation that can happen through vocal tone, body positioning, movement, timing, and the soft but focused attention between human and dog.

Thanks to Lili Chin, who helped bring this game to life through her illustrations in our infographic of The Engage Disengage Game, and Karen Pryor Academy for publishing it in print and online. Shout out to the positive trainers around the globe who have translated it into different languages and are using it every day with dogs who are experiencing fear, anxiety, reactivity, or aggression.

Hi! I've moved to SoCal and am now offering positive dog training and dog walking in the Inland Empire, San Bernadino, and Los Angeles Counties in Southern CA!

I've also added a new service called Play & Learn Sessions- a personalized dog training and walking service that prioritizes learning through play and positive training. I’ll accurately assess your dog’s needs, discuss your dog’s quality of life goals with you, and then continue to support them through regular weekly sessions. I had such a great time working with Nikki and Dream Dogs Training to create her new website! I was also so flattered to receive this email from her after our recent launch:
