Big thank you to Jefferson County Conversation District for hosting the Washington Conservation Crew and the amazing work the crew did to our Riparian Buffer and Hedgerow Plants. does a fantastic job keeping the rows mowed. The crew came in to weedwack around the plants and other maintenance. These plants were part of a grant through JCCD and the project was done last year.

Yesterday we hauled five horses to the Lower Puget Sound Dressage Club May Show at Lazy K, an event that represented a major milestone for the horses, being either their first dressage show or the first of the season. It was heartening to confirm the effectiveness of the training at home and observe riders' sustained passion for dressage. We would like to thank the club for organizing a highly enjoyable and inclusive show. A super fun "first show of the season" for three of my students. I am incredibly proud of them and their horses, as their hard work is paying off. The weather at Bainbridge Island Saddle Club was perfect today. I took too many pictures to get through, but here are some of my quick favorites. This was a fun, low-key hunter/Jumper schooling show. Although these three riders primarily identify as dressage and main ring performance riders, they performed exceptionally well.
