Knowing the anatomy and keeping horses correctly balanced is key! My focus when I pick up each individual foot is to keep everything in mind, to the use of the horse, the conformation and the foot I

see in front of me. I started farrier school January 2012, I received my diploma for passing the 12 week session. We focus not only on trimming and shoeing horses but the correct way to shape and fit shoes as well as anatomy, different pathology's and different lameness issues.

Want to give a shout out to my apprentice Lexi Lynn Cryderman

To be honest I wasn't to keen on the idea of having someone come along to help. I didn't want to have to baby sit or waist my time helping someone who wouldn't take the opportunity seriously. However lexi quickly changed my mind. From the first day I met her I knew it would be a good fit. She is determined patient persistent charismatic hard working and always willing to learn grow and expand her knowledge.

Some quick pics of a horse I worked on the other day. Who was done about 6-8weeks prior. He was severely grown out of the shoes that were on him. He was wearing the same standard size and shape shoe on all four feet. Needless to say he benefited from having me under him.
