Great evening to bake Carmel Brownies for the park this weekend!
And it brought back a memory. My late pup Dodger ( aka Dodgy Boy, Carmel Brownie) use to eat anything he could get into. He got Into the car window of one of my boarders and finished off her Macdonald’s meal she had, he went in to back doors of the van left open for
The cabinet guys working in my house and ate their doughnuts! Actually one of the days they had to bring him home as he was in the vehicle!!
But the funniest is the time I made a pan of Carmel brownies for our Ferrier ( he trims the horses hooves) I put them in the front seat of his truck so Dodgy wouldn’t get them. After he was done he got his calendar out of his truck and brought it in the barn to set up out next appointment, and he left his door open. Dodger ate the entire pan, and from
Then on our Ferrier called him Carmel Brownie. He never got sick!
Does anyone have a story to share about something your pup got into and ate that they should not have?
I sure do miss my little Carmel Brownie. Whoever comes this weekend will get one!! ❤️ 🐶 🌈

♥️ Some visits hold a little more meaning than others.

Remember Sadie Strong, our sweet friend who lost her battle with cancer earlier this summer.
Today, her family returned to Golden Pines with their new pup Wario, and their other beloved pup.
Sadie was one of the reasons they chose a private dog park. She preferred having a place of her own, where she could feel safe and enjoy the freedoms to simply be a dog.
Her family shared that returning was bittersweet, I can only imagine the emotions that came with walking into a place filled with memories of Sadie. And as some of you know, the places we share with those we love can hold so much joy, but sometimes a little ache too.
So tonight, we simply want to say Thank You! Thank you for coming back when it was hard. Thank you for allowing Golden Pines to be a part of Sadie, and now Wario’s
We hope that, with time, new paw prints will find their way into your ❤️!!
