To the previous owner of the cat we are calling ‘Clarice’:
We know that giving up a beloved pet is one of the hardest decisions a person can make. And we also know that caring for a disabled senior cat is incredibly difficult. When you left her outside of the shelter, it was so she could get the help that she needed. She was transferred to our rescue for that exact reason.
We so badly want to learn more about ‘Clarice,’ and what her life looked like for the past ~16 years. We are working on a treatment plan for her, but it is much more difficult without any of her past medical history. Specifically, whether or not her hind legs have always been paralyzed.
More than anything, we would love to be able to call her the name she likely knew for almost two decades. Though she doesn’t have much time left, we will spend whatever precious moments we have showering her in love.
If you happen to see this, please consider reaching out to us at [email protected]. We promise that we are not here to judge, we just want the very best for ‘Clarice’ ❤️🩹
