🐾 MITCH IS STILL WAITING… AFTER NEARLY 3 YEARS 💔 🐾

Meet Mitch — a handsome Husky boy who has been waiting at the Chillicothe Animal Shelter since November 13, 2023. That’s nearly 3 YEARS of watching people come and go, hoping that someday, someone will stop and see him.

Mitch is kennel mates with his brother, Marty, who has also been waiting far too long. These two boys have spent such a huge part of their lives at the shelter, and we would love nothing more than to finally see their stories change. 🐾

Mitch is a beautiful long-haired Husky with a striking black-and-white coat, a white mask, and one brown eye and one blue eye. 😍

💙 Mitch is very timid and shy when he first meets someone. He needs a patient person who understands that trust takes time. Once he feels comfortable, you get to see more of the sweet personality hiding behind that shy exterior. He just needs someone willing to give him the time, patience, and love he deserves.

After nearly three years in a shelter, Mitch deserves the chance to experience life outside of a kennel — a family, a soft bed, a yard to explore, and someone who will give him time to feel safe and loved. ❤️

Please help us get Mitch seen! Share his post, tag someone who loves Huskies, or come meet him at the shelter. Maybe you could be the person Mitch has been waiting for all this time. 🐾❤️

Please don’t let another year go by for Mitch. He deserves his chance. 🥺🐾
