Happy Holidays Everybody!
I hope everyone is staying warm this week. Here's just a couple of quick updates for the remainder of the year and next.

I have limited availability in the afternoon next Tuesday (12/9) and midday Christmas Eve (12/24). Those are the only appointments remaining for the year. I am offering them up to current clients first. If they are not filed by this Saturday (12/6) I will open them up to anyone willing to take them.

I will be taking a short break from grooming between Christmas and New Year's Day to rest and deep clean the shop after the holiday rush. If I don't respond to calls, texts, or messages, I will get back to you a soon as I can after the 1st of the year.

As always, if the weather is bad and you don't feel safe driving, don't hesitate to get a hold of me to reschedule. You will not be charged a no-show fee for severe weather emergencies.

My Facebook messenger for this page still doesn't deliver all of my messages to me, so if it's easier to type, please text the shop if you don't get a reply on Facebook within a day or two. I won't respond to booking inquiries in tagged comments, photo threads, or wall posts. Please message or call for any questions or booking inquiries.

And finally... 2026 price increases. I was able to keep my rates the same this year, but all of my supply costs have more than doubled (some increasing by over 400%) so unfortunately, I need to adjust my prices accordingly. I'm trying to keep the increases as reasonable as I can for haircuts and trims, but I am going back to tiered pricing by weight/ coat length for baths.

Nail Trims - $10

Bath & Nails for short & medium coated dogs (pugs, beagles, pitbulls, boxers, bulldogs, great danes, etc...):
Under 10lbs - $30
10-25lbs - $35
25-50lbs - $40
50-100lbs - $45
100lbs+ - Contact me with breed and weight for pricing

Bath and Blowout for long hair and double coated dogs (Goldens, aussies, huskies, shepherds, corgis, Great Pyrenees, etc...):

Under 10lbs - $35
10-40lbs - $45
40-60lbs - $60
60-80lbs - $75
80lbs+ - starting at $90 (contact me with breed and weight for exact pricing)

Full-body clipper cuts:
Under 10lbs - $40
10-30lbs - $50
30-60lbs - $70
60lb+ - starting at $85 (contact me with breed and weight for pricing.) I have very limited spots for full grooms on large dogs at the moment.

The cancelation/rescheduling policy remains the same. No fee for canceling or rescheduling 24hrs+ in advance. Last minute cancelations and no-shows (barring medical/ family emergencies) will be charged 50% of the cost of the groom due BEFORE the next service. New client no-shows will be charged the full price of the missed groom before another can be booked. Second no-shows will be asked to find another groomer. I really appreciate my current clientele respecting my time and schedule the way that they do, but unexpected no-shows really throw a wrench in my daily scheduling and earnings.

I can't believe I will have been open for 5 years in this location as of May 2026, so to celebrate I will be doing $5 nail trims the entire month of May!

How could you not fall in love with that smile??? Miss Willow is always a ray of sunshine while she's in the shop!

I haven't posted in a while, but it has been BUSY in the shop lately. I still have a hold on new dogs for full grooms, but I have a few spots open for baths and nails on shorthaired dogs. Call/text the shop, or send me a message on Facebook to set up an appointment.

I hope everybody is staying cool and enjoying this light reprieve from the scorching weather we've been having. Hopefully, it'll be chilly before we know it!

Bruce is getting all spiffed up for Santa Paws! What he lacks in height, he more than makes up for with that handsome face! Bruce is a rescue that is excited for his first Christmas with his new family. As always, I encourage everyone to take a look at the local shelters when they're ready for their next dog. I'm increasing my rescue discount to a free first nail trim, or $10 off the first groom for all rescue and foster dogs.
I hope everybody has a great next couple of weeks/ holiday season! Only a little over 100 grooms before Christmas break for me!

After weeks of shipping, It's finally here!!! Do you want your puppy to smell good enough to eat? Would you like your dog grooming and coffee order to be the same???
Well Sugar Pie has the solution... Pumpkin Spice and Apple Cider scents are in! Ask about upgrading your groom to a fall scented shampoo, conditioner, and scent spritz at your next appointment. Sugar Pie is going to smell as cute as she looks after her groom today!

Hey everybody! I hope everyone had a great summer and is ready for the cozy fall weather... I know I am!
I have 3 important shop matters to address really quick:

1. My Facebook messenger for the shop has been super unreliable this year. It isn't notifying me of incoming messages, and hiding them in my inbox for weeks/ months until they finally decide to pop up with the original send date. If you use messenger and don't get a reply from me in 3-5 business days, please shoot me a text or give me a call at the shop (309-645-6534). Texting is best, as often there is loud equipment running when I'm working and I don't have time or ability to stop what I'm doing and answer my phone. I have had a ton of calls and texts recently, so please keep in mind it may be a few days before I can get back to you. I have also been booked out 6-8 weeks in advance lately, so I'm sorry to those who need in the same week/ following week, but I just can't accommodate most of those requests shy of cancelations or quick nail trims.

2. I am no longer accepting any new clients or dogs other than nail trims, and baths on shorthair dogs. I am currently booked out into November, so I only have a few available slots for my existing clients to book, and nowhere to put new clients. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I really appreciate all the referrals my clients send my way, but this will remain indefinitely until my schedule is freed up a bit.

3. To everybody who books their whole year in advance, I will start booking next year ASAP. If you currently book your whole year, or are a current client and would like to start, just shoot me a message and I can get your 2025 schedule all set up for you.

Happy 2024 Everybody!

I have just a few housekeeping notices for the new year:

Cancelation/ No-show policy -
I require notification for cancelations no later than 5pm the day before your appointment (barring emergencies). No call/No shows will be charged 50% of the price of the missed groom. 3 NCNS will forfeit any future grooming.

Pricing for 2024 -
I have decided to go with a more size/breed set pricing rather than hourly.

Nail trims - $8

Baths:

Bath and nails on short coats (frenchies, chihuahas, labs, pits, boxers, etc..) - $35

Bath and Blowout on small dogs 20lbs and under (long coat chihuahuas, mini shepherds, pomskies, etc...) - $40

Bath and Blowout on medium dogs 20-50lbs (aussies, shelties, border collies, cattle dogs, etc...) - $48

Bath and Blowout on large dogs 50lbs and up (Goldens, collies, huskies, etc...) $55

Price will increase for extra large dogs, or dogs with matted/impacted undercoats.

Full Grooms:

Small dogs under 20lbs (shih tzus, yorkies, mini poodles, etc...) full groom - $46

Medium dogs 20-50lbs (mini/med doodles, wheatons, spaniels, etc...) full groom - $60

Large dogs 50lbs and up (standard poodles/ doodles, Goldens, labs, etc...) full groom - $80

Price may decrease/increase for extra small or extra large dogs. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Hey everybody. I have a client who is currently fostering this pup who is now looking for her forever home. She is believed to be a pitbull/border collie mix and is super sweet. She is extremely active (like most bully breed puppies tend to be) and has already proven to be a good herder of small children, so an active household without small children is required!
