Grahams Greens, LLC Market Farm growing all kinds vegetables, lettuce, herbs, exotic vegetables, microgreens and fruits. Opened a farm store downtown.

Direct to consumer via Farmers Market, Farm Stand and Hirsch's Farm Store. Farm to Table: providing local restaurants/bars with fresh produce and herbs My name is Graham Matter the owner/operator of this start up farm. Currently I have a full time job and farm full time afterwards. Previously a Chef who started urban farming with microgreens, hydroponics and backyard growing. Now I've expanded to 5 acre property here on Alum Cliff Road, Chillicothe where I will expand my operations and enterprises so I can provide more to my community instead just a few families and neighbors. I've always had passion for making and growing food since I was a little kid. Before the internet, I walked half hour to the public library and bring back a mountain of gardening books each week. I still have that passion to learn and experience how to grow things.

Hey all! You all know me as the chef who went from making the food to growing the food. Someone has to get down in the trenches and make the farm to table happen. Can’t just buy one thing from a local farmer and say you are farm to table. That not how farm to table works…. It’s time to switch back for this week. This week is Chilifest, so I will not be at the farmers market this Saturday. I will run under the banner of the Masonic temple again this year. Come on out after market. CSA subscriptions can still be picked up at Foster’s Marketplace as usual. Online orders will be refunded if ordered already. No call in for on farm pick ups this week.

There is a lot that goes on behind the scene beside harvesting and selling produce. There is planning, seeding, transplanting, weeding, watering, pest management, weather management, equipment maintenance, and booking keeping, etc. Most times night transplanting, is the only time I can fit it in the schedule. Also it less of a shock on the new seedlings. FYI First frost day is creeping up.
