It is with heavy hearts that we deeply regret to inform you that as of Friday September 25, 2026, Chiefland Animal Hospital will be closing its doors. For 28 years the staff at CAH has served its community with dedication and love. Please know that this was not a decision that was made by anyone at the clinic. This was a decision made by the corporation that has ownership. Suwannee Valley Vet Clinic has graciously decided to take on any of our clients if they choose to go there and treat them with the same amount of love and care that was given at CAH. Records will be available through Suwannee Valley Vet Clinic. Also, anyone that is getting medications through CAH online pharmacy will have to find other means to get their medication. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

A message from the staff to our clients:

We are heartbroken and devastated about the closing of our clinic. CAH has been our home for many years. We have so many wonderful stories and memories of our years serving you. We will miss you all and your pets dearly and send you all the love and appreciation for supporting us. Thank you for being a part of this amazing journey. We love you all and hope to see you again in the future.
