Hi! My name is Jeanine and I am a certified dog groomer. I have nothing but love and compassion for animals. They truly are the only beings that love you no matter who you are, what you look like, or what you do. My interest in grooming started when I decided I didn’t have the heart to be a veterinarian, so I went down a different path instead where I could still work with animals. I became a kennel tech at a boarding and daycare facility for 3 years and a bather for a year. Then they sent me to school for dog grooming. I was in school for 6 months (finished early) where I groomed over 150 dogs to pass my courses. I learned the anatomy of dogs, every single vaccine and what it does, parasite and diseases dogs can have, proper handling, breeds, proper coat maintenance and coat types, and took courses on their behaviors and communication and so much more.
Additionally the knowledge I have in animal care based off my own hyper fixation and research.
I am also involved in dog sports and heavily interested in conformation and creative grooming.

Grooming is not a side gig or something to make extra cash. It’s a career and it matters and it’s physically and emotionally demanding.
