It’s going to look so much different when we start back, but I am so excited!!

I haven’t forgotten about y’all, I promise. Things are just happening a little slower than I’d hoped, but that’s okay! We’re gonna get there 😉

A ton of old fencing has had to come down, the house and property has needed (and still needs) a lot of work, and we have a lot of fencing to put back up. 💚

While we are still setting up at our new location, I will be offering off-site appointments. My intern, Alli, may join for educational purposes and to help fulfill requirements she needs to meet for her internship!

Availability is limited to the weekends, or after 6pm during the week while the daylight is still in our favor.

Off-Site Appointments may cover: Training or Exercise Rides, Groundwork (for multiple purposes, e.g. (re)starting your horse undersaddle, baby school, for respect, trailer loading, and more), and normal riding lessons to elevate your skill and relationship with your horse.

🌟 Meet Our Intern 🌟

I’m excited to introduce Alli! She will be joining us this fall for farm calls, lessons, exercise rides, and training rides.

Alli has been riding for 6 years. Before finding her passion in barrel racing, she started out show jumping. She also enjoys pole bending, goat tying, and other western speed events!

✨ Alli says:
“A motto I always have in the back of my mind is “Rome wasn’t built in a day” to remind me that working with horses takes time and patience it doesn’t just happen overnight.
One of the biggest influences in my life is my mom. She always pushes me to try my hardest everyday no matter what I am doing and that mistakes are going to happen you just have to learn from them.”

I’m so happy to have Alli with us! If you have any horses you need exercised, feel free to reach out—we can come to you! 🐴💛

We’re under contract 🤩 Closing date set for late September. Looks like we will be back to scheduling lessons starting in October. 🙌🏻

Location still in Chiefland and still 10 minutes from town 😄

I feel like we’ll need a “re-opening” party before we start back lol! It’s been a long journey, hopefully this is it! 🤞🏻

We had a BUSY June!

From mounted drill and beginner camp, to lessons…and welcoming LOTS of new faces 🤩 to this!

This group put in a lot of work this week to get ready for their demonstration. They created their own pattern and chose their song!

Along with this, they completed their Goals packet and broke down how they plan to achieve their goals. They completed a “Horse Budget Activity,” where they were given a budget to stick to. With the budget, they figured out how much money they would have to save each month for 2 years; how much they could afford to spend on a horse, tack, and equipment; and learned how to negotiate horse prices. They were ruthless with their negotiations! 😳😂

Super proud of these kids! Mounted Drill takes a lot of practice to get the timing and coordination down, and they only had 4 days to create the pattern and learn it. AND we had a last minute horse switch!
