Did you know that when the air temperature is only 87°F, pavement can reach a scorching 143°F? That's hot enough to burn your dog's paw pads in seconds.

Before heading out for a walk:
🐾 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening
🐾 Stick to grass or shaded paths when possible
🐾 Test the pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds
🐾 Bring water for both you and your pup
