Ruby is only 6 days into our 2-week board & train program and has already made such an incredible transformation! While her family is away on vacation, she’s been working hard on basic obedience and catching on so quickly. She has already mastered walking calmly on a leash, loading up confidently, and staying in place. We are so proud of this sweet girl and can’t wait to see how much more progress she makes over the next week! 🖤🐾

It has been a rainy weekend but these pups are still having the BEST time! 🌧️🐾 With school officially out, we’re so thankful to have so many sweet furry friends joining us while their families travel this summer. Nothing makes a rainy day better than happy wagging tails and muddy paws!

We are incredibly heartbroken to hear about the passing of our neighbor and sweet friend. He waved to us every single day, always asked about our kids, always asked if need anything, and kept such a great eye on our kennel. If a light was left on or a car were there after hours, we could count on him to call and make sure everything was okay. Ever since I started staying home with the kids, he kept Daulton good company, when he didn’t answer the phone I always knew he was across the street hanging out with Junior. He was the kind of person who would lend anything you needed and truly would give you the shirt off his back. We will miss his kindness, his watchful eye, and those daily waves more than we can say.

We’ve been thinking about adding a new service to Country Lane Kennel and wanted to get your thoughts!

For those pups who are more comfortable in their own home (and maybe don’t love the idea of staying at a kennel), would you be interested in us stopping by your house while you’re out of town?

This would be perfect for dogs who do best sticking to their routine, staying in a familiar space, and getting one-on-one attention instead of being in a new environment. It can also make things so much easier on you as the owner, no drop-offs, no pick-ups, and no extra stress while you’re trying to travel. In-home care is often more flexible and convenient for busy schedules too.

What really makes us different from just a typical dog sitter is our team. Our staff is trained in dog care, behavior, and safety, so you can feel confident your pup is in knowledgeable, capable hands. Proper training helps ensure pets are handled safely, their needs are understood, and any issues are recognized quickly, giving you true peace of mind while you’re away.

We’d offer things like potty breaks, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love right at home… let us know your thoughts!!

Here at CLK, we believe the best way to train a dog is to start early and make training part of everyday life. 🐾 Miss Reba is 3 months old learning how to properly walk on a leash no pulling, following her human’s body language, and stopping when they stop. Leash walking is one of the very first steps toward raising a well-mannered, confident dog. 💛

CLK is now offering more flexible boarding options to better fit your dog’s personality and needs. While we still require all boarders to be friendly—for the safety of our staff and all pups—we’re excited to now offer private boarding options for dogs who prefer a quieter, more relaxed stay.

We also offer packages for pet parents who love staying connected with photo updates, as well as options for dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, including walks to the creek. 💦

Every dog in our care receives attentive, loving care in a safe and comfortable environment—now with the ability to choose the package that best suits your pup’s needs. 🤍🐾

🐾 Boarding for One Dog

Regular Boarding – $40 per night
A great option for dogs who enjoy a standard boarding stay with plenty of care and attention.

Private Boarding – $50 per night
Ideal for dogs who prefer their own space or need a quieter environment.

Boarding with Daily Photo Updates – $55 per night
Includes either private or social boarding, plus daily photo updates so you can stay connected while you’re away.

Boarding with Creek Walks & Daily Photos – $60 per night
Includes private or social boarding, scenic walks to the creek, and daily photo updates.

🐾 Boarding for Two Dogs (Same Household/Same Kennel)

Regular Boarding – $65 per night
Comfortable boarding for two dogs from the same family.

Private Boarding – $75 per night
Perfect for pairs who prefer a calm, private stay together.
