✨Volunteer spotlight ✨
This week, we want to highlight one of our rockstar volunteers, Aiyana!

Aiyana and her mom, Kim started volunteering with us in July of 2025 when they saw a Facebook post looking for someone who could transport dogs between Darbster Doggy and The Mall of New Hampshire each Sunday.

From there, Aiyana’s fuse was sparked and she continued to seek out more ways that she could get involved.

Aiyana and Kim have grown to be an integral part of our rescue efforts and volunteer team.. Whether we need dog walkers at the mall (now our Merrimack Premium Outlets location), help with feeding and caring for our cats at a moment's notice at Darbster Kitty, or even driving to Connecticut to pick up new arrivals, We can count on them for ✨literally✨ anything. Rain or shine, they’ll meet us at the airport or roll up their sleeves to get all the new kitties settled into their quarantine kennels after a long trip north. She loves kitty cuddles the most but is not afraid to pick up some p**p when the situation presents itself (which is often) 😂

We can’t thank Aiyana and Kim enough for all the love they show our animals and all the ways they make our mission possible. These two have help saved a lot of lives and we are so grateful to have them on our team 💖

If you are inspired by Aiyana’s story and want to get involved, fill out our volunteer application linked below:

🐾 Upgrade Their Space. Improve Their Care. 💙

This month’s 50/50 is helping us make an important upgrade to the isolation rooms at Darbster Doggy!

We’re working toward replacing our current wire crates with solid-wall kennels and improved flooring — creating a space that’s easier to clean and sanitize while giving the dogs more privacy and less stimulation during their stay.

🎟️ 50% supports the upgrade. 50% goes to one lucky winner!
