Creed is still waiting for a family with arms wide open.

This sweet 6-month-old boy has so much love to give, and all he wants is someone to take him higher than the uncertainty he’s known so far. He should be stretched out on a couch, curled up in bed at night, following his person from room to room like the loyal little shadow he is. Instead, he’s growing up in rescue, hoping each day will finally be the day someone comes for him.

Creed has the gentlest heart. He melts into affection, looks up at you with those soulful eyes, and makes it impossible not to fall for him. He deserves a home where he can be weathered by nothing but kindness for the rest of his life.

Milo looks like the kind of little dog who was made for slow mornings, being tucked under blankets, riding shotgun in the car, and following his favorite person everywhere they go. He has that deeply companionable quality about him, the kind that makes a house feel warmer just because he’s in it.

At only 2 years old, this adorable chihuahua mix is now searching for a completely fresh start after losing the only family he’s known since puppyhood. He was surrendered due to a no pets policy at their home. It’s a huge adjustment for such a sensitive little dog, but despite everything changing around him, Milo remains incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager for love.

He leans into attention so gently, watches people with hopeful eyes, and seems to just want reassurance that someone out there will choose him and mean it forever this time.

Milo would thrive in a loving home where he can finally exhale, settle into a routine, and be cherished as part of the family. He truly has so much love to give and deserves a future filled with comfort, stability, and kindness.

Turnip is wondering when it will finally be her turn.

This beautiful 1 year old black cat came to Famous Fido Rescue alongside her siblings Radish, Carrot, and Parsley, and somehow, they are all still waiting for homes of their own. While many cats get passed by because they are shy or scared, Turnip is actually incredibly social and loves being around people. She is the kind of cat who wants to be part of the action, curious about what you’re doing and happy to soak up attention and companionship.

Black cats are so often overlooked, and we fear that is exactly what is happening to sweet Turnip. Because the truth is, she has so much love to give. She would make such a wonderful addition to a family looking for a friendly, affectionate feline companion. Watching her continue to wait while others leave is heartbreaking, because she is more than ready to love and be loved in return.

Pablo has waited long enough. Long enough to watch other dogs leave while he stays behind. Long enough to wonder why nobody has chosen him yet...

At just 6 years old, Pablo was scheduled to be euthanized through no fault of his own. We stepped in and saved him, but rescue was never supposed to be the finish line. It was supposed to be the bridge to a better life.

And Pablo is MORE than ready for that life.

He is affectionate, loyal, gentle, and deeply connected to people. The kind of dog who sits beside you just to feel close. The kind of dog who looks at you with complete trust. The kind of dog who still believes in love, despite everything he’s been through.

This isn’t a “project dog.” This isn’t a dog beyond help. This is a really good dog who deserves a real home.

It’s painful to see such an incredible companion continue to be overlooked when he has so much love to give. Pablo should not still be waiting behind rescue walls. He should be waking up in a home where he feels safe and wanted every single day.

Carrot is still waiting.

This beautiful young tabby came to Famous Fido Rescue alongside her siblings Radish, Turnip, and Parsley, and somehow, not one of them has been chosen yet. While so many kittens come and go, Carrot continues to quietly watch from the sidelines, hoping someone will finally notice her and see the loving companion she is meant to become.

Carrot is gentle, sensitive, and happiest in calm environments where she feels safe. She may be a little shy at first, but underneath that cautious nature is a sweet girl who simply wants patience, kindness, and a family she can trust. She would do wonderfully in a home with other cats, as she finds comfort in feline companionship and would love to be part of a growing feline family.

In 2024, three little kittens were surrendered to Famous Fido Rescue together -Snap, Crackle, and Pop. Snap and Crackle were quickly chosen and went off to begin their lives in loving homes. But Pop stayed behind.

Now, this precious boy is about to turn two years old in July, and our hearts break thinking about how much of his young life has been spent waiting for someone to see him.

Pop is shy. When visitors come into the cat room, he often hides instead of running up for attention. Because of that, people pass him by without realizing there is a sweet, gentle soul quietly hoping someone will give him a chance. Rescue can be overwhelming for sensitive cats like Pop. What he truly needs is a peaceful home where he can finally relax, settle in, and learn what it feels like to belong.

We believe with all our hearts that the right person is out there for him. Someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who understands that the shy cats are often the ones who love the deepest once they feel safe.

This precious 3-year-old maltese mix is searching for something so simple, yet so important - a loving, stable home where he can finally feel safe again.

After losing his home due to circumstances beyond his guardian’s control, Son Son has been left frightened and unsure of what comes next. But underneath that fear is an incredibly sweet little dog who just wants someone to care about him, protect him, and show him that he is still worthy of love.

We truly believe the right person is out there for him.

Romeo is an absolute lover boy.

This handsome 3-year-old staffy x coonhound has so much charm packed into one dog that it’s impossible not to fall for him the second you meet him. He flashes that big goofy smile, melts into your arms for cuddles, and hands out slobbery kisses like they’re going out of style. He doesn’t just want affection - he thrives on it.

Despite losing his guardian when they suddenly passed away, Romeo has held onto his loving spirit so tightly. He still believes in people. He still gets excited every time someone walks his way, hoping maybe this time it’ll be his future family.

And honestly? He deserves one.

Romeo is sweet, affectionate, full of personality, and good with other large dogs too. He would make an incredible companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend to share their life with. Whether it’s going for walks, lounging together at home, or simply being near his people, Romeo is happiest when he’s part of the moment.

Every day, Tarzan waits and watches, hoping today will finally be the day someone chooses him.

This sweet 3-year-old orange and white boy was abandoned outside of a vet clinic and has carried that heartbreak with him ever since. He is gentle, loving, and so deserving of a second chance, but lately he just seems…sad. Sad to still be waiting. Sad to still not have a person to call his own.

Tarzan doesn’t ask for much. Just kindness. A soft place to sleep. Someone to talk to him gently and remind him that he matters. Someone who won’t leave him behind again.

He has so much love in his heart, and we know there is a family out there who could change his entire world simply by saying yes to him. We want so badly for Tarzan to finally know what it feels like to be safe, adored, and home forever.
