🎃 Rocco has one very important question: What is your pet dressing up as for Halloween?! 👻

He’s accepting answers in the comments—and judging costumes exclusively on cuteness.

Whether your pet is going as a pumpkin, superhero, hot dog, or something completely ridiculous, remember that safety should always be part of the costume!

👻 Make sure costumes aren’t too tight or restrictive
🎃 Avoid small pieces that could be chewed off or swallowed
🐾 Make sure your pet can walk, see, hear, and breathe comfortably
🍬 Keep candy—especially chocolate and anything containing xylitol—out of reach
😺 If your pet seems stressed or uncomfortable, skip the costume! A festive bandana or collar can be just as cute.

Most importantly, never sacrifice comfort for the photo. Halloween should be fun for them, too! 🧡

Slash is looking bright-eyed, handsome, and ready for the weekend—but those bright eyes are also a good reminder that wellness exams aren’t just for when your pet is sick! 🩺

Routine wellness visits give our veterinary team a chance to check your pet from whiskers to tail, monitor changes in weight, teeth, heart and overall health, and catch subtle concerns that cats are very good at hiding.

Even when they look as healthy and happy as Slash, regular checkups are an important part of helping them stay that way. 💛

Slash’s post-exam plans? Snacks, naps, and absolutely no responsibilities. Sounds like a pretty good Friday to us.

We had a blast!

We came. We kicked. We limped. 💙🐾 Our crew had a great time playing kickball against Oz Animal Hospital. The scoreboard wasn't in our favor, but spending time with our teammates and connecting with another local veterinary hospital made it a great day. Thanks for the fun, Oz!

Milo would like to speak to whoever scheduled Monday. He has questions, concerns, and possibly a strongly worded email coming.👀

While Milo investigates, here’s your Monday reminder that cats are experts at hiding when something doesn’t feel right. Subtle changes can be important, including:

🐱 Eating or drinking more or less than usual
🐾 Hiding or becoming less social
💤 Changes in activity or sleeping habits
🚽 Changes in litter box habits
🧼 Over-grooming or grooming less
😾 New or unusual behavior

You know your cat’s “normal” better than anyone. If something seems off—even if you can’t quite put your finger on it—it’s worth checking in with your veterinarian.

For now, Milo will be conducting a full investigation into why the weekend was only two days long. 🔎

🐶 Pass absolutely no motions because everyone is distracted by puppies

Four Technicians. Four puppies. Zero productivity. 😂

All jokes aside, we LOVE our Technicians and everything they do for our patients every single day. From the puppy cuddles to the not-so-glamorous parts of veterinary medicine, they bring skill, compassion, patience, and a whole lot of heart to their work. 💛

Lucy was all smiles after her X-rays, especially with Technician Taylor there for some post-photo-shoot cuddles.

X-rays give our veterinary team a look at what’s happening beneath the surface—from bones and joints to the chest and abdomen—and can be an important tool in figuring out what’s going on with our patients.
