Congratulations Human-Animal Support Coalition !

One generous $10,000 grant award from the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation; hundreds of healthier pets in Central Texas.

✨ We are so excited to share that the Human-Animal Support Coalition has received this extremely generous gift as part of the Duffield Foundation's initiative to increase access to veterinary care ✨

Approximately half of the grant money will help subsidize spay and neuter surgeries for pets in need in our community. Every pet fixed means countless unwanted litters prevented and precious lives saved at local shelters. 🐩🐈

The other half of the grant money will be used support under-resourced pet parents with free vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention at our quarterly outreach events in partnership with Feast of Hope. Healthy pets mean happier families and safer communities. 💉👩‍⚕️

Special thanks to our fabulous grant writer Jorden Anderson of Jorden Anderson Consulting for helping us help pets and the people who love them 💖

We sell flea/tick/heartworm prevention starting at $10 month!

Every pet needs these preventative medications every month to protect against parasites that can cause life-threatening illness.

If we haven't seen your pet before, book a Well Pet appointment here: https://humananimalsupportcoalition.org/

If your pet is getting fixed with us, you can add these on surgery day.

✨ And we now sell Credelio Quattro for dogs, which protects against fleas, ticks, heartworms, and general worms (including New World Screw Worms) ✨

This month at Donna North High School, the future of vet med got hands-on. And a little spooky. 🎃🔬

Our monthly spay/neuter clinic did what it does best: sterilized animals and kept the community’s pets healthier. But the real Halloween thrills happened at the lab tables.

Our Donna North students practiced f***l tests and blood smears. Parasites under the microscope? Drippy blood on a slide? It’s the creepiest, coolest science lesson of October. Yes, we handed teenagers p**p and microscopes, and they were thrilled. Turns out the scariest thing in the lab isn’t what’s under the microscope. It’s how fast these students picked it up.

Sterilizing pets today, building the veterinary workforce of tomorrow. No tricks, just treats thanks to Maddie's Fund
