Some kittens are only adopted with a bonded buddy. There are some single adults that can be adopted as a single. Adoptions fees cover spay/ne

uter, vaccines to date, microchipping, deworming and whatever medical care that was required before adoption. Most kittens will need at least one more vaccine booster shortly after adoption (some need two) and a rabies vaccine. Adoption Fees:

Kitten pair - $300

👑🐾 MEET JOULES! 🐾👑

Our foster family had ONE simple mission last Sunday: go to the the White Sox game, enjoy a couple beers, and eat a Chicago-style hot dog. 🌭🍺⚾️

Instead, they found Joules casually hanging out in a parking spot before the game. 😂

Apparently rescue duty follows us EVERYWHERE. And when a gorgeous, sweet calico needs help, you skip the hot dog 🌭 and help. ❤️

This calico beauty is approximately 1-year-old. With medium-length fur and markings that look hand-painted, Joules has decided the world is her kingdom—and honestly, we’re not arguing.

She’ll wind around your legs, give you very official finger kisses, install herself on your lap, demand attention shamelessly, and play with her whole heart. 🥰

Her foster mom says it best: “She moves through the house like she owns the deed to it.” 👑

Joules is now fully vetted, sweet, litter-box perfect, and ready for her forever home.

Our rescue kitty Nina escaped from her foster home near Monticello Ave & Roscoe St in Avondale while construction was happening in the building. She slipped through the front vestibule separating the two units and is now missing. 💔

WHO DOESN’T NEED A FARMER FRED IN THEIR LIFE?! 🌾🐱

Meet Fred! This handsome dude is just barely over a year old, so he’s still got that teenage energy—but he’s also surprisingly chill. Basically, the perfect combination of fun + laid-back! 😎

Fred is the kind of guy who could happily be your one-and-only. He gets along with other cats, but honestly? He doesn’t really care what they’re doing. 😂 He’s independent, does his own thing, and isn’t constantly looking for feline attention.

But PEOPLE? Now THAT’S where Fred shines! ❤️ He absolutely loves his humans and would make an awesome companion.

We can totally picture this guy living his best life going on walks in a secure harness or cruising around town in a kitty stroller. 🐾🛒 He’s just a happy, easygoing dude waiting for someone to make him part of the family.

Well, here we are again, asking our amazing supporters for help—and trust us, we need it more than ever. ❤️

Our sweet little Luca has already battled so much in his short life. Born with a cleft palate and tube-fed since the day we got him at just 1 day old, this little guy has fought every step of the way.

Now Luca needed emergency surgery to remove fabric from his stomach. 😭 Look at ALL of that in the bag! He’s had a habit of chewing things so toys were “under supervision” but apparently a piece of a blanket mat was fair game. His foster mom knew something wasn’t right, and thank goodness for her watchful eye. She quite literally helped save his life.

Between his ultrasound and emergency surgery, we need to raise $4,100 to cover his care.

Yes, we know… it feels never-ending. But that’s rescue. We will never deny our rescues the treatment they need when lifesaving care and quality of life are on the line. We simply cannot do it without you. ❤️

So today, would you consider skipping that Starbucks, putting off that dinner out, or donating whatever you can to help Luca?

The best news? Luca is home, recovering, and doing SO well! 🥹💙

Five tiny 3-month-old Logan Square rescues have officially graduated from sick porch babies to professional wrestlers, zoomy experts, biscuit makers and world-class cuddlers! 🥹🐾

They were born outside on a neighbor’s porch to a very young mama who has unfortunately managed to stay one step ahead of our attempts to catch her. When these babies came into foster care, they had severe URIs and some seriously nasty eye infections. With lots of TLC and medical care, they’ve come a LONG way. ❤️

Now they’re happy, playful, sweet— and READY FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES! 🏡

🐢 Bebop — The fearless adventurer! First to explore everything, master wrestler and professional cuddler.

📣 Rocksteady — Our talkative zoomy boy who wants to follow you everywhere and will happily claim your lap.

🥷 General Krang — Sweet and chill, with a specialty in sneak attacks and tackling his bigger brothers.

🧸 Shredder — Our teddy bare-faced shy baby. Give her a little time to warm up and she’ll reward you with serious couch cuddles.

🍕 Pizzaface — The ultimate Stage 5 Clinger. Biscuits, chest cuddles, snacks and wand toys are her love languages. 😂

They all get along wonderfully with the resident cats in the foster home and are very social. They’ve also been exposed to dogs. Most are fine with them, although Shredder has made it VERY clear that dogs are not her favorite. 😂

These babies have worked hard to get healthy and are ready to find families who will love and spoil them forever. ❤️

🚗 RIDE NEEDED 🚗 👋🏻

Help! Nina and her son Ernie are due for their annual exams/vaccines and the vet was able to fit them in this Friday at 3 pm! Can anyone drive them to their appt and bring them back to their foster home? Pickup at 2:30, appt at 3 at Shelter Vet Solutions. Both near Avondale area (6 min drive but Friday 🚗 🚥 so 30 mins should be plenty).
