I’ve been absent from this Instagram for quite some time. When Phantom passed I kind of lost the will to post about my grooms.
It may sound silly but I felt like anything I posted after his passing seemed so unimportant. Grooming without him around felt harder. His empty corner and lack of his calming presence was harder to deal with than his loss.
What I didn’t expect is how the dogs responded to his absence. How his friends would run into my apartment going straight to his bed’s corner confused when it wasn’t there. Watching his friends sniffing around trying to find him. It was like losing him all over again.
It slowed me down. I stopped taking on so many grooms and took a break from over booking myself.
