With humble beginnings in 2011 as a mobile veterinary clinic, it has since expanded to it's large brick-and-mortar location with a staff of over 50 employees. We're here to serve our community Monday - Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm for routine and urgent visits. We are AAHA and Feline Friendly Practice accredited.

Leila is a sophomore Biology major at Tufts University in Boston and is set to graduate in 2029. She hopes to attend veterinary school after graduation and pursue a career as a veterinarian.

This week, Leila spent time alongside our veterinary team, observing and assisting with everything from patient care to dental procedures—and even getting some hands-on experience with one of our feathered patients! 🐱🐶🦜

It’s always exciting to meet a young person who is willing to spend part of her summer gaining experience and learning more about the profession she hopes to enter. That kind of initiative, curiosity, and dedication will serve her well as she works toward becoming a veterinarian.

Thanks for spending the week with us, Leila! We wish you all the best at Tufts and on your journey to veterinary school. We hope to see you back at Duke Animal Hospital someday! 💕🐾

Meet Louis and Bing, two of the most stunning Maine C***s we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

They are giant, fluffy, sweet, cuddly, and somehow even more impressive in person than they are in photos. Every staff member wanted a turn holding them—and honestly, can you blame us? 😍

We’re pretty sure they left with more fans than some rock stars.
