The last day of no school. It has been a nice break for him and me. School stresses me out, too 😂

Day 511: Finally outside!
I finished my work in the morning and we were finally able to go outside to play 🎉
The Kid has been learning about the nature at school and showing more interest in trees and leaves 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
He is also enjoying cooking and preparing his own meals at home. He made a ham cheese spinach sandwich (his favorite sandwich) for lunch to-go. He also used to be afraid of using the microwave, now he proudly heats up his pizza. We are glad to see him gaining confidence and independence.

Day 510: Saturday work day
I've been working at home all day. The Kid and the Dude went bike riding/ practicing riding the bike in the morning. The Kid and I went for quick walks twice. But we mostly stayed in.

No photo of my sprained thumb 😵 I took a break from work for 5 minutes to play with the Kid, he jump-sat on my thumb ☠ I'm always afraid of getting stabbed in my eyes but this was not expected 💬

Day 509: Friday 🐧
Let your kid come to work with you but keep telling him to be quiet day

Day 507: Lesson day
It's been 4 months since the Kid started taking the drum lesson. It took a while for him to get used to it, but seems he's really enjoying it now that he is starting to make some type of music.
His teacher is the most patient human being I've ever met. He also needed to get used to the Kid 😅 (getting to know each other is a critical part of a good teacher student relationship, isn't it?)
I'm not sure if he'll be playing drums in the future but it definitely seems to be helping him with focus, following directions, failing and trying, possibly confidence and more. One of the best decisions in the recent years 😃
