We’re barreling toward the holiday season, so here’s our friendly policy reminder to keep us running smoothly during a hectic time of the year! As a reward for reading through this boring-no-fun post, the first person to correctly comment (instagram only) what animal Shop Dog Zeke is cosplaying as will get ✨$5 off their next groom!✨

•We have a 48hr cancellation policy- if you cancel within 48hrs of your appointment you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

•Same- day cancellations and no-shows will be charged 50% of their appointment price.

•We have a 15 minute grace period- if you are more than 15 minutes late we will cancel your appointment and charge you 50% of your appointment price.

•We will always give you a 30 minute heads-up before your pet is ready. Dogs must be picked up within 30 minutes of completion (so an hour after our heads-up text) or we will charge a $25 late pick up fee.
•If you think you’ll have to leave your pet with us longer, please let us know prior to your appointment if possible.

These policies are in place to keep Good Boys running smoothly. We haven’t fully been enforcing these policies (and that’s on us!)- but we’ve had many same day and wihtin our 48hr window cancellations in the last month.

As a reminder, we are a small salon of two people and may not be able to fit you back in if you cancel. We do out best- but cannot create more time in a day. Please plan accordingly and let us know ASAP if you have to reschedule, Good Boys!

🚨Warning- big brag post incoming!🚨
This weekend the Good Boys Groom Team attended the All American Grooming Show in Schaumburg, IL- and it was a huge success! We are now a salon filled with
✨Award winning groomers!✨

Theresa competed for the first time in the “freestyle” class with Mushu the toy poodle in his “poodlington” trim. Not only did Theresa take ✨Best First Timer✨, she also placed 2nd in her division and 3rd in Group!!! For those who don’t know what that means- she did REALLY, REALLY GOOD!
On top of those two placements, Theresa also won 🏆 BEST FIRST TIMER IN SHOW 🏆 We are thrilled- but not surprised. Theresa put in the hours, worked her butt off, and proved her skills!
Nick and Shop Dog Fig 🐩 also competed this weekend in Entry Poodles, placing 🥇FIRST🥇 in a competitive class. This has been Nick’s long term goal and he’s thrilled his hard work has paid off! And Fig is thrilled she got the attention she feels she deserves (endless compliments and cheese).

Onto the next one!

IT’S PRIDE MONTH! 🌈

Pride is about celebrating, uplifting, and recognizing members of the LGBTQ+ community. PRIDE is more than just a month on the calendar, it’s a reminder that LGBTQ+ people are part of every community, every workplace, and every neighborhood. We are business owners, artists, leaders, friends, family members, and neighbors.

This month, we want to shine a spotlight on some incredible small businesses that are owned by and support members of the LGBTQ+ community. Their contributions help make our communities stronger, more vibrant, and more welcoming for everyone.

And if there’s one thing we can learn from dogs, it’s this: love comes naturally when we focus on what connects us instead of what makes us different. Dogs don’t judge, they simply accept, love, and welcome others for who they are.

Happy Pride Month! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

HAPPY PRIDE!

Pride Month reminds us that love comes in all colors and honestly, dogs figured that out a long time ago. 🐾🌈 Love is simply love!
