Join the Chicago Botanic Garden Windy City Harvest Youth Farm team and help grow food, skills, and future leaders in Chicago.

Work alongside high school youth in North Lawndale and Washington Park while gaining hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture.

You’ll support:
🌿 Organic farming (planting, weeding, harvesting)
👩🏽‍🌾 Youth mentorship & team-based learning
🤝 Farm operations, safety, and site support
📋 Daily feedback and crew-based instruction

Youth Farm applications are closing soon🌱

This summer, teens will gain hands-on experience in urban agriculture, learn about food systems, and build leadership skills through outdoor learning at our North Lawndale and Washington Park farm sites.

The program runs June 22–August 7, Monday–Thursday. Applications close May 29.
