Have some free time? … Volunteer at our local shelter. They pets really need human interaction 💔

Nobody could have prepared me for the highs and lows of owning a pet business. Most people would probably assume the biggest challenges revolve around money, but for me, it’s been the emotional side of this business that has been the hardest.

I never expected to become so close to my clients, or that I would find myself grieving the loss of their beloved babies right alongside them. This is not a hands-off business. When you truly love animals, you don’t just care for them; you become attached to them. And when you lose them, sometimes you lose more than just a pet. You lose the daily connections, the familiar faces, the texts, the calls, and sometimes even the friendships that grew along the way.

Tina is one of those people. We became fast friends through our shared love for Lui, and when he passed, I found myself mourning not only him but also the daily interactions and special bond I had built with Tina.

Thankfully, although she isn’t ready for another pup and may never be, we’ve made it a point to continue checking in on each other and keeping our friendship alive.

I will forever be grateful to Lui for bringing us together. ❤️ Sometimes, the greatest gift our pets leave behind isn’t just the memories we cherish, but the people they bring into our lives.

Thank you, Tina, for being such an amazing friend. ❤️🐾

This 3-year-old male pup is in dire need of rehoming due to his owner's housing crisis. Unless his owner finds a new home for him, she faces losing her current residence. She is committed to finding a better living situation for her dog. If you know of anyone looking to adopt, please send them my way.
