Our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N Wood) is closing at 4p today for our Smokin’ W**d For Pets in Need event, the Everyday Adoption Center (1101 S Canal) is open until 6p. Both facilities are open tomorrow from 11a-6p.

Ready to meet a Gouda boy? This handsome hound is about 6 years old and friendly with dogs, cats, and kids! He is a very talented singer and will keep you entertained every day.

He loves to enjoy the sunshine and is hoping to make his way into his forever home soon to soak up all the Summer sun with his new family!

Dollop and Clyde are new besties at our Bucktown Adoption Center!

Dollop was adopted in early April, but was returned due to allergies. His previous foster, Mike, stopped by to drop-off their current foster dog, Clyde, at our Bucktown Adoption Center and had unexpected reunion with Dollop!

Dollop was full wiggles, excited to see Mike and to meet his new friend, Clyde! Both of these dogs are available for adoption and would make a great addition to many homes. Dollop loves other dogs and thrives when he has a buddy!

Recently, we had a big Presa in our care, Iggy, that had so many applications in such a short period of time and was adopted super quickly! Well, Ruth here just got her Embark Vet DNA results back and turns out she's 39% Presa, so maybe some of those fans should check her out, too! Ruth is housebroken, good with being left solo, dog-friendly, and super duper sweet! She's excitable when she sees other dogs on walks, and is working on that, but overall - this gal has great manners.

At One Tail, we look at all dogs as individuals, but finding out their breed mix is fun! We're happy to be part of Embark's Shelter Program, which is a fun giveback program in which we receive free Embark DNA kits when folks select us for the shelter to credit.
