Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

We are grateful for all of our patients and clients!

The hospital will be closing early on September 1st. We will be open from 7am-12pm for tech appointments as well as medication refill and food pickups. We will have normal hours on Saturday, September 2nd and closed for Labor Day.

On September 1st, we are offering 20% off all tech services for cooperative pets. This includes nail trims, a**l gland expressions, routine ear cleanings, sanitary shaves, lion shaves and microchips. Please contact to schedule an appointment if you are interested in taking advantage of this discount!

A painful process by which the dentin (a hard tissue that lies beneath the enamel of the tooth) in a tooth (or teeth) erodes and eventually becomes irreparably destroyed.
Type 1: Destruction of the crown, but radiographically, the root retains a normal appearance with an easily discernible periodontal ligament.
Type 2: Radiographically the root appears to be disintegrating and not easily discernible from bone.

An oral assessment is part of your pet’s physical exam. A full comprehensive oral assessment (COHAT) is only done under general anesthesia and with full mouth radiographs. Ask one our doctors if you are concerned about your pet’s teeth!
