Hi there Miss Bosly,

It's been quite a while since you ran to the Rainbow Bridge. It has taken considerable time for me to compose the words that I wanted to say for your tribute, my dear. I hope you have been playing happily with all your friends and family there.

Your legacy holds strong and continues to help so many pups and families in need of a safe place to play and to freely be a dog. Of course, we still miss you greatly and the heartbreak felt is so profound.

I still watch your videos to enjoy your treat chompies - you always had such gusto for my treats! It was just so rewarding to see you relax and melt into your favorite bed when I worked on your back and shoulders during our sessions together... and then immediately wake up with crazy eyes for TREATS at the end! I laugh even now thinking back to those funny times. After all, I only have so many pictures of you because most of them came out blurry from your energy! It was hard to do justice to your true beauty on film anyway. :) There were even those special times where you enjoyed the session SO much, you had to be roused awake only to give us the "why are you waking me up?" face! Such a sweet, expressive, little soul.

I met you later in life but that didn't mean that I missed out on witnessing your fiery spirit. It may have looked different, but it was still there and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to befriend you and your mama, and help you in your golden age.

What a truly magical creature you are - To be such an inspiration to your mama for her to build this community of pet parents, this movement for our Chicago dogs, and this support structure for those in need or who feel lost. She misses you so dearly but she continues to love you forever - and we know you will continue to inspire her throughout her life.

Thank you so much for such wonderful memories - from me, from your community, and, especially, from your mama. Its so hard to say goodbye, so let's say "until we meet again".

Mr. Payton, I'm so happy I met your parents at Houndstooth last year so we could have our time together. We were able to share such sweet times from treat crunchies to your snoozy snores to those goofy grins.

We knew you only had so long, but we were so grateful you made it so far. I'm so glad I could help give you some moments of relief before it was your time, sweet boy. As tears flow, I am so honored to have been a part of your treasured life and journey.

Your pet parents were always thinking of you and really made sure your last year was truly golden.

Though this transition is so difficult, there is some solace that you were able to pass peacefully and can now run free without limitations.

I love you, Payton.

Join us for Paws & Pose: Summer Solstice Puppy Yoga—a 60-minute slow-flow yoga class led by certified instructor Rebecca Anne Geraci, with some very special co-hosts: adoptable puppies from !

You’ll move through a gentle and grounding practice while adorable pups roam the room offering cuddles, laughs, and the occasional kiss. After class, stick around to meet the pups, learn more about OTAT’s mission, and find out how you can get involved in the rescue community—or maybe you’ll fall in love and bring home a new puppy.

Rebecca Anne Geraci is a heart-led, intuitive yoga teacher who blends movement with mindfulness and emotional healing. She holds a 200-hour Hatha & Vinyasa certification from Vida Asana Yoga School in Costa Rica, plus 60-hour Yin Yoga and Reiki 1 & 2 certifications. Her classes often include chakra work, sound healing, and essential oil therapy to create a well-rounded, soulful experience.

Say Hello to these georgeous guys & gals!

Hero (left) & Hoagie (right):
Hero is a greyhound rescued from dog racing and though she has lots of mental and physical trauma from it, she has made exceptional progress thanks to her understanding mama. Hoagie is a whippet with a penchant for demanding food while having the most sensitive of tummies. The cutest little sandwiches you'll ever see! 🧡

Bourbon:
An adoring austrailian shepherd who LOVES his agility classes but has a tendency to build tension along his trunk. Luckily his mama knows the benefits of massage therapy and Bourbon is happy to help (by falling asleep and being a cuddlebug)~ 💛

Arya:
A sweetheart of a shepherd lab mix with such a sweet soul. This little lady once jumped from a moving car and injured her shoulder! So she needs help keeping those shoulders strong and to relieve her compensative tensions. 💙

Bunk:
A spunky shepherd pittie mix who, despite his youth, has a luxating patella. He likes to go hard in the yard, so with some lifestyle adjustments and pet parent education on top of his sessions, Bunk is able to play within proper limits and support while still having fun! 🩵

Tucker:
A smartie labrador who needed TPLO surgery to address his CCL tear. We met at a Bosly's event and I was smitten (of course)! Tucker has done great on all his therapy journies thanks to his loving family. 🩷

You are free to sit without worry. You are free to run in joy and never fear. You are free to jump, play, roll, and lay in complete ease.

You weren't given the attention and training you deserved when you started your rescue journey, until you found your pet mama. She fostered you and gave you every chance she could. She worked with you, sat with you, loved you, and ultimately when the time came, she stepped up to bat to adopt and support you.

So when things took a turn this past month, when you no longer felt safe and no amount of love could help you anymore, that love was given again so you could finally feel peace.

Though we know that to be true, it doesn't change that we will miss you, we will remember you, and we will love you forever and always.

I will certainly miss the videos of you watching me leave after our sessions with the cutest whimpers filling the background. I will miss your cute smile and little teeth as you looked up for a treat. I will miss your fiesty drive-bys and wiggling butt. You are forever a very good boy and no one can take that from you nor from our memories.

We love you, Roger.

Drakey Dearest,

Words simply fail to capture this heartbreak. The earth said farewell to a precious, darling soul.

We met with this end in mind but it is never easy, dear friend. When I met you and your lovely pet parents at the Bosly's Howliday Market this Winter, you told us you were ready for a massage! Every day is a question with cancer and your pet parents wanted to give you everything they could offer you, and boooy did they. To witness such determination, dedication, and boundless love was so endearing and radiant to behold. You carried yourself with those same qualities and I can't help but feel it's because of all your shared time together as a family.

You quickly became a massage PRO and set your routine: greet me at the door like a true gentleman, walk me to your bed, drink lots of water, (sometimes ask for soup if it was cooking), and then plop on your designated massage area for the day, and doze into a state of peace and comfort. Though you could always be roused for your end-of-session treats! I loved seeing you roll around and stretch and give out contented sighs...as well as the occasional LOUD fart! Every session spent with you and your parents was such a special treasure.

So when it was your time, I simply cannot express how grateful, honored, and touched I was to be invited over that morning to help bring comfort and peace for your transition. Tears were shed, smiles and laughs shared over your memories together, and, of course, hugs and kisses for you to remember until we meet again.

We love you, Drake.

Mr. Reggie, I will miss your little chompies when you expected treats and the way you would stumble onto my lap for cuddles during our sessions. ❤️‍🩹

This was so sudden... you were doing so well in your therapy plans and kept showing improvements in your mentality and mobility. We are so very proud of you, sir. There is never a time when we want to say goodbye but we know you are now free to run and play to your heart's content.

Your mama did everything for you and she loves you forever buddy. Whenever we would chat, 99% of the times we were just in awe of your adorable face and actions. It was absolutely a "who rescued who" relationship and your bond was so clear and strong together.

I'm so glad I was early for my appointment that day last year, so I had time to stop and talk to you and your mama and feed you a handful of treats (which you heartily accepted). No sense of stranger danger with you!

I'm so glad she called and we could start your therapy journey. I saw firsthand how comfortable you became and that will give me a slight peace, knowing that you weren't in pain. I'm so very honored to have been a part of that journey for you.

We love you, Reggie.

No matter how much time we had together, it was always filled with love and happiness.

Big boy Dash was just pure friendliness and he let you know with his excited borks when you came to visit! I will greatly miss hearing those distinct Old English Sheepdog barks of yours, as well as playing with your fluffy fur while you show a big goofy smile ❤️‍🩹

Even while mourning your sister and having many physical ailments, you wanted to just loooove, and plaaaay, and snuuuggle, and kiiiiss. Your family loves you so dearly and they did EVERYTHING for you, little sir. I know, you know how lucky you all were to have each other.

As heartbroken as we are to part ways, you can now run pain free with your sister until we all meet again. Tell her I say hi and I will show her what the buzz was about with our massage sessions when I get to meet her someday.

Helping PMP wish you all a Happy Holiday...Pippi & Daisy!

Pippi (Black Pug) and Daisy (Brindle "Bugg") are sisters to our dear client, Chloe (last picture)!

After seeing Chloe's sessions, Daisy and Pippi joined the ranks to adress spinal and hip tensions between the two. Pippi is 4yrs and Daisy is 11yrs. Tensions and health complications can happen at any age and massage is wonderful to get ahead for bodily health!

Welcome this doggie duo...Charlie & William! These little steamboats and all their blurry glory 😂 I was lucky to snag a few that were clear!

Charlie (L) and William (R) are brothers who both have had their fair share of orthopedic complications from CCL repairs, IVDD flare-ups, and of course bodily tensions and overcompensation.

We've been working together for a while and, in tandem with their swimming and PT, they have really hit their stride! They are such rambubctious lil guys and they deserve to keep zipping by at the speed of hound 😆

I also included a sneaky pic of Javi at the end who sometimes come to visit on massage day so he can snag a session! There is quite literally too much cuteness to contain in one room 🤩

So happy to be part of your dedicated care team, boyz! 🩷

HOUND DOGS! Welcome Wi******er (R) & his brother Waylon (L) - you can really tell the resemblance in the ears 😍

While Wi******er is the "primary" massage dog, Waylon likes to sneak in for kisses and a touch of work on himself (or else he will perform the many songs of his people 😅), so it would be wrong not to include him in our welcome post. Plus, they are just so dang cute together 🥰

Wi******er has quite a few problems that result in pain. His main concern is a build up of scar tissue, from a historical injury before being rescued, in his neck/jaw which triggers TMJ dysfunction. This is not only painful but can be debilitating.

When Wi******er's mama reached out, he was skipping meals and was so uncomfortable trying to eat 😢 So SO SOO! happy to share that after his first session, he was gobbling up his hard kibble which he had stopped doing for a while. With his regular sessions, Wi******er's eating has stabilized and his gait is improving, too. Being a hound dog, he was bound to have limb and back complications as well. Sweet boy ❤️‍🩹

Welcome Payton! Sugar-coated and extra sweet 🥰🍬 What a kissable little face~

Payton is a 14yr old lab cattle dog rescue with a long medical history (managed), a prior TPLO surgery for a CCL tear, and is now struggling with bad arthritis. 💥

Payton's parents reported he could no longer sit on command which is a big indicator that your companion can be in discomfort. Many times I hear things akin to "they just got stubborn now that they're old", which is most often not accurate. Dogs who love to please will continue to do so when they are older, but their bodies can slow down and become painful for them. Even though they most likely would LOVE to interact how they once did, their bodies have become limited. So PLEASE never force your dog into a sit position if they are not willingly doing it on command. 🙏🏻 Always tell your vet of these developments too and get an evaluation.💫

Luckily, Payton's pet parents saw these signs and reached out for including massage into his therapy plan. He is still learning the ropes but he is such a very good boy and reallllly enjoys work on his sore, overcompensating shoulders. So happy to bring you relief, buddy! 🤗
