🐕🐕Two-Dog Leash Walking

Walking two dogs on one leash is harder than it looks. Suddenly there’s too much to track: who to reward, who needs a command, who’s pulling.

✅Our rule: treat them like one dog. Walk them on the same side. When you do that, all the handling you’ve already learned works in your favor.

A few tips to get started:

• Lure both dogs to the same side and practice “name and reward” in motion

• Run through commands on that same side before you head out

• Keep it short (5-10 min) — they need time to adjust to walking next to another dog

• Take sniff breaks. Walks are just as much about exploring as they are about structure.
