It appears not everyone is into Pumpkin Spice everything season!! We are totally out of treats and some of our dogs aren't fans of the ones we have left! You could bring a lot of happiness if you sent a few treats their way off their Amazon wishlist below!

The following pups say thank you for any non-pumpkin treats but the other 250 plus say thank you for any treats!

From left to right:
Rumor- "You guys are the worst. I am not impressed with anything pumpkin spice" Sweetest girl, hard to impress

Pillow Talk- "You are trying to feed me WHAT exactly? Ok fine I will try it" Pillow Talk who loves humans and respects dogs and is a fan of Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks. He is wasting away and is so lonely so he loves any treat.

Pitstop- "Do NOT offer me pumpkin. How did we get to this place?"
Named so because he puts the brakes on going back to his kennel. A member of the cuddle bug crew.

Kathmandu says - "Um no thanks, what else you got in that f***y pack?"
Kat as his friends call him....the sweetest baby!

Update: Adopted!
Turquoise has been waiting 116 days. This pint sized, long legged puppy is growing up too quickly in the shelter and needs a home. She is smart, loving and playful. We all scratch our heads on this one. She adores people and showing off all she knows-sit down, and stay. She is wicked good at all 3. Turquoise will make such a loveable and loyal companion. And those whiskers!

A retractable leash might seem more convenient, but are there some reasons you shouldn’t use them? Read on to learn more about why retractable leashes might not be a good choice for you and your dog.

Update: Adopted!
We wish we could keep posts light. But when dogs continue to come to the shelter after being abused and neglected, it is hard to do. But the good news is Quaid is living a better life at CACC because of the people who saw him and helped.

Quaid looks like he was kept in a crate all the time and one that was too small. Pressure sores on top of his ears, and flat paws. He is also severely underweight. These are the outward signs of abuse. His hesitation and being weary of us, in the beginning, show us the rest of the abuse. He has not been treated with kindness but Quaid is coming around. He is learning how to be a dog, trust humans again, and enjoy things like playing with toys.

Each day, we see him grow braver and more like the dog he should be. Now we need to find a great home for him!
