A Look Inside Our Kitten Room
People ask all the time what our kitten room looks like, and I swear I’ve shared it before. But honestly, it’s one of those things worth sharing again. Because this room is where so much of the magic starts.
This is not just a room with kitten condos and cat trees. This is where our babies learn confidence. It’s where they climb, wobble, wrestle, nap in ridiculous positions, scream for snacks like tiny goblins, and figure out that the world is safe, warm, and full of people who love them.
Our kitten room is set up with safety, cleanliness, enrichment, and socialization in mind. We use individual spaces when needed, easy-to-clean flooring, washable surfaces, stainless litter pans, climbing areas, cozy beds, wall furniture, and plenty of room for supervised play. It may not look glamorous every second of the day because kittens live here, and kittens are chaos in designer skin suits, but everything in this room has a purpose.
The condos allow us to safely separate kittens, moms, or cats when needed while still keeping them where they can see, hear, and interact with the rhythm of the cattery. The open play space gives them room to stretch their legs, build coordination, explore textures, and practice being brave little creatures. The climbing shelves and trees help them develop balance and confidence. The beds and hideaways give them places to decompress when their tiny batteries run out.
The big rainbow tunnel is a favorite. Obviously. They have taste. At Pink Palace, we don’t believe kittens should be raised in isolation or treated like inventory. They are handled, watched, talked to, cleaned up after, evaluated, loved on, and socialized every single day. This room is part nursery, part playground, part classroom, and part emotional support circus before they are allowed into larger spaces of our home.
It is where we start teaching them the things that matter before they ever leave us. How to trust hands, how to handle household sounds, how to play appropriately, how to use their litter box, how to climb without launching themselves into another dimension, and how to become the confident, affectionate, people-focused companions we are so proud to raise.
Behind every polished photo is a real room, real work, real cleaning, real intention, and a whole lot of love. So for everyone who has asked, this is our kitten room.
It’s simple. It’s functional. It’s clean. It’s safe. It’s full of enrichment. And most importantly, it’s full of heart.
Welcome to the little corner of the Palace where the chaos begins. ❤️
