We lost sweet Socks a couple of days ago after his battle with cancer. 🤍
His mom has been part of the Cosmicos family for a while, ordering treats for him almost every week, sometimes even twice a week. Knowing that something I made became a small part of Socks’ days, especially during this chapter of his life, means more to me than I can really put into words.
One of the most special parts of Cosmicos is getting to know your pets through your orders, photos, messages and stories. I may never meet many of you or your pets in person, but that doesn’t mean I don’t grow attached to them. Every order has a name behind it, and every pet matters to me.
Losing Socks really affected me. As a cat mom myself, it also brought up that feeling we probably all try not to think about too much: we never really know how much time we’ll get with them. We just get to love them as much as possible while they’re here.
Thank you to Socks’ mom for letting Cosmicos be a tiny part of his life and for loving him so deeply. And thank you to all of you who let me be part of your pets’ lives, too. I never take that for granted.
Rest easy, sweet Socks. 🌈🤍 You’ll always be part of the Cosmicos family.
