Final Farewell

Final Farewell A community of compassionate animal lovers who want to participate in ash-scattering ceremonies of animals who did not make it out of shelters alive.

Final Farewell is a growing group of compassionate animal advocates who wish to ensure that the animals that do not make it out of shelters are never forgotten and that their memory is honored. Our objective is to help people nationwide realize, via compassionate ash-scattering ceremonies and the ability to participate in these ceremonies, that there is a large issue, right in our own country, in

our own cities, towns and villages. Our local shelters are overcrowded and have no option but to “euthanize” when full. This overcrowding is due to animals not being fixed, animals being bred for money through either individuals, backyard breeders, or via puppy mills (sold online and via pet stores), and animals being treated as property and discarded at local animal control facilities because there are not stringent enough laws to protect these animals. By having ceremonial ash scatterings, we wish to honor the animals that have lost their lives, and we hope to and raise awareness to the problems we have at our local shelters, so that together we can honor these animals, and together we can help ensure more people become involved in process of helping our shelter animals! You can get involved and participate in ash-scattering ceremonies. Please contact us at [email protected]. Beyond helping us with being able to honor the lives of those who did not make it out of our local shelters via our ash-scattering ceremonies, all other proceeds will help towards our goal of education and solutions to overpopulation and euthanasia. This includes extending donations to existing rescues, enabling them to continue their work and to help more shelter animals. As a note, ALL members of Final Farewell work ONLY on a volunteer basis, NONE of the money raised goes towards a salary, travel, etc.… all money goes to benefit the animals. Any and all work is done completely from the heart on a volunteer basis.

Meet Emma🥰

Emma is a beautiful 3-year-old playful pup. She has a big heart and a story of resilience. She had a hard start in life but now is in a safe place.

Emma is good with kids and male dogs. She loves hanging out with horses and staying close to her humans.

Emma is an obedience star in the making. She is doing awesome with her training.

Emma is looking for her forever home where she can shine with love, consistency and companionship. She would thrive with another male dog or as the center of attention with an active family who is ready to embrace her joyful loving spirit.

Please share Emma's story.

Meet Brownie and Elmo. Brownie was rescued off the streets of LA and sent to a rescue in Michigan. He was later found abandoned in a motel with Elmo. Neither one of the previous rescues were able to help these sweet boys so they came to us.

BROWNIE is about 7 years old and vetted. He is good with cats and dogs. He is very sweet and loves to sit next to you while you pet him.

Elmo is a young boy about 3 years old and vetted. He is very sweet and simply a good boy. He is also good with cats and dogs.

Thank you ABRA rescue for taking these boys into your rescue to help find them the home they deserve. Please share Brownie and Elmo. Please contact us if you have any questions.
