For the past 60 years, it has been a pleasure to serve you as a valued client of the Chicago Heights Animal hospital. However, it is with heavy heart that we announce the retirement of Dr. Andrea Wurzer and the closing of the Chicago Heights Animal Hospital as of July 1,2025. With that said, there is a possible buyer for the hospital and are currently in negotiations. We will keep you informed.
Please know we want this to be a smooth transition and want to give our clients enough time in order to retrieve their pet records, medications, prescriptions, and food. Our hours are changing and as of it June 1, 2025 the hours will be : Monday - Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm and every other Saturday 8am-noon.
We realize this is bittersweet news for many of you, as it is for us! We will cherish the memories we've made with Dr. Wurzer and the staff at the Chicago Heights Animal Hospital. THANK YOU for your many years of loyalty. If you have questions, we can be reached at 708-754-3149. Lisa Riegler, our groomer will relocate to the Flossmoor Animal Hospital (708-798-9030) in July.

This lovely lady showed up starving and begging to come in …. She is now fed,spayed,microchipped, and fully vaccinated looking for a forever family of her own! Miss Pumpkin K is extremely outgoing at about 7 months old plz contact us directly if you might be that family!!!

ROSIE HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME!!!!
Rosie is still searching for a family to love her could this be you? Rosie is a young lady with lots of love to share! She is fully vetted ( spayed vaccinated microchipped) and anxiously awaiting to relocate into a new home! Someone previously dumped her out of a car and left her very confused but this girl does not hold a grudge she is outgoing and extremely friendly. Please contact us if you might be interested i. My beautiful Rosie was recently returned due to no-fault of her own as her adopters resident kitty was not happy about a new sibling! The adopter really tried but sadly the sibling rivalry just became too much. However, she is doing very well and now looking for new caregivers that will pamper her like she deserves if anybody’s looking for an amazing, one year-old female-spayed,micro chipped kitty please reach out to us at 708-754-3149
