It’s starting to get chilly and shoes are coming off so whoever needs a restock on used horseshoes for crafts or decorations let me know and I’d be more than happy to get them to you!

Nothing like starting the day by knocking out a trim on a draft. 💪🏼

I’ve never been under so much pressure while trimming a donkey. 🦙😅

One of my biggest take aways from shoeing school was this….
You truly can’t judge another farriers’ work because you don’t know what they started with.

Here is a not so glamorous picture of a horse I shod today. I’ll be the first to say it, It’s down right ugly!
This large friesian X mare was previously trimmed way too short leaving her zero foot and very sore. Hence the need for shoes and pads. So to many, without the back story this looks like a horrible shoe job. And it is. It made my eye twitch more than once. 😵‍💫
But she walked off comfortable. And in 6-8 weeks she will hopefully have the growth she needs to either return to being barefoot or have a much more eye appealing shoe job.✨

UPDATE: Schedule is full!

Hello everyone! 👋🏼

Just wanted to make a quick post.
My surgery went very well and I am still on track for being back to work in August.
In the meantime, Rachel King has very generously offered to fill in for me. She is based out of Nebraska so she is going to try to make a whole day out of coming to Cheyenne in the middle of July for whoever needs work done.

Please reach out to Rachel asap to get scheduled. Her number is (720) 612-3442. 📞📆
