🎀🐾 THIS WEEKEND, WE'RE FIGHTING FOR ONE OF OUR OWN. 🐾🎀

Our Anniversary Sale is always one of our favorite weekends of the year - but this year, it means a whole lot more.

Our General Manager, Clarissa, is beginning her battle against breast cancer... again. 💗

Clarissa is a huge part of the heart of Tail Waggers & Wash, and this weekend we're asking our amazing community to help us surround her with the same love and support she has given so many others.

👕 LIMITED-EDITION "TOUGHER THAN CANCER" SHIRTS

We'll have a very limited quantity of these special shirts available during our Anniversary Sale!

The design features Clarissa's own Border Collie, Oswin, transformed into a vintage pinup model wearing her pink shirt and bandana. 🎀🐶🌹

100% of the proceeds from every shirt sold will go directly to Clarissa, to help pay for her treatments.

🧁 SWEET TREATS FOR A GREAT CAUSE

Our friends at Sweet Saddle Bake Co. will also be joining us with a table full of cupcakes for sale - and they'll be donating the proceeds to Clarissa, too!

We'll have several other fundraising opportunities throughout the weekend for anyone who would like to help.

And Tail Waggers & Wash wants to make every one of those dollars go even further...

💗 WE WILL MATCH ALL DONATIONS MADE THIS WEEKEND - UP TO $5,000! 💗

That means together, we have the opportunity to put $10,000 or more behind one of our own as she starts this fight.

Our goal is simple:

LET'S HIT THAT $5,000 MATCH.

Come shop the Anniversary Sale, grab one of these limited-edition shirts, pick up a cupcake, make a donation, and help us show Clarissa just how big the Tail Waggers & Wash family really is.

🍄 National Mushroom Month continues at Tail Waggers & Wash! 🍄

Today's featured mushroom has a look that's almost as impressive as its name-Lion's Mane! 🦁🍄
Lion's Mane is especially interesting because of its connection to brain and nervous system health. According to MycoDog, research into Lion's Mane has focused on bioactive compounds associated with Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF)-both involved in maintaining healthy nerve and cognitive function.

So why might you consider MycoDog Lion's Mane Mushroom Tincture for your bestie?

🍄 Brain & Cognitive Support - Lion's Mane may help support normal cognitive function, memory, learning, focus, and mental clarity.
🍄 Nervous System Health - It can help support healthy nerve-cell function and neurological wellness, making Lion's Mane particularly interesting for our aging besties.
🍄 Healthy Aging - MycoDog highlights Lion's Mane for senior pets because of its potential to support coordination, mobility, balanced mood, and healthy sleep-wake cycles as they age.
🍄 Gut & Digestive Health - The gut is sometimes called the "second brain," and Lion's Mane doesn't stop at neurological support! It provides soluble fiber and natural prebiotics while helping support a healthy gut lining, normal digestion, and nutrient absorption.
🍄 Immune Support - Lion's Mane naturally contains beta-glucans, which can help support a healthy immune response, microbiome balance, and the body's natural defenses.
🍄 Cardiovascular Wellness - Emerging research is also looking at Lion's Mane for its potential role in supporting normal blood flow and cardiovascular health.

And after a month of talking about mushrooms, you probably know what's coming next...
QUALITY MATTERS!

When choosing a Lion's Mane supplement, MycoDog recommends looking for fruiting-body extracts rather than myceliated grain, a dual-extraction process, and Certificates of Analysis confirming purity and potency.

We often don't think about supporting our dogs' brains until they're seniors and we're already noticing changes. One of the things we love about learning more about functional mushrooms is discovering ways we can be proactive about our besties' long-term wellness.

Whether you've got a senior bestie you'd like to support through their golden years or a younger dog and you're thinking about lifelong neurological health, MycoDog Lion's Mane is definitely one worth learning about!

Stop by Tail Waggers & Wash and check it out. National Mushroom Month may be coming to an end, but we're definitely not done talking about everything we've learned from MycoDog! 🐶🍄

🍄 National Mushroom Month continues at Tail Waggers & Wash! 🍄

Today we're featuring a mushroom with thousands of years of history behind it: MycoDog Reishi Mushroom Tincture!

Reishi has traditionally been associated with vitality and longevity, earning it the nickname "Mushroom of Immortality." What makes Reishi particularly interesting today is its naturally occurring triterpenes and polysaccharides, compounds that researchers have studied for their potential roles in supporting several different systems throughout the body.

So why might you add Reishi to your bestie's wellness routine?

🍄 Calm & Relaxation - Reishi is considered an adaptogen and may help the body maintain a healthy response to everyday stress while supporting relaxation and restful sleep.
🍄 Immune Support - Reishi's polysaccharides and triterpenes can help support normal immune-cell activity and a balanced immune response.
🍄 Heart & Circulation - Research has explored Reishi for supporting healthy circulation, blood pressure already within a normal range, and lipid metabolism.
🍄 Respiratory Wellness - Reishi may help support a healthy inflammatory response, respiratory efficiency, and normal oxygenation.
🍄 Brain & Cognitive Health - Compounds found in Reishi have also been studied for their potential to support neurological health, mental clarity, and restful sleep-something that can be especially interesting for our aging besties.
🍄 Liver & Kidney Support - Reishi contains compounds being studied for their roles in supporting the body's natural detoxification organs and maintaining healthy liver and kidney function.
🍄 Healthy Skin & Coat - Its immune-balancing properties may also help support normal, healthy skin.

And once again, how the mushroom is prepared matters!

Reishi has a tough outer cell wall made from chitin, making its beneficial compounds difficult to access simply by grinding up the mushroom. MycoDog uses a dual-extraction process designed to break down those cell walls and make those compounds more accessible. Their tincture uses mushroom fruiting bodies, with mushrooms wild-sourced or cultivated outdoors in the United States without grain or fillers. The finished extract is suspended in organic vegetable glycerin derived from coconut.

If you're looking for a functional mushroom with broad whole-body applications, MycoDog Reishi is definitely one worth learning about!

Stop by Tail Waggers & Wash and check it out. We're getting close to the end of National Mushroom Month, but we still have more amazing MycoDog mushrooms to introduce you and your bestie to! 🐶🍄
