The other day my Mom and I were walking dogs in the field when all of a sudden a truck pulled into the field and started coming up to us.

This was not something we had planned forā€”thatā€™s not something people do so it caught us by surprise until we realize it was someone we used to get hay from coming over to say hi.

Talk about a great distraction for the dogs! Thatā€™s not something theyā€™ve seen.

Thankfully with their recall training it was easy to call them over to us, ask them to wait and go say hi. They all chilled while we had a conversation. I didnā€™t put them in an obedience position because I didnā€™t want to manage that, but they waited nicely.

Grateful that something exciting can happen and it doesnā€™t have to be chaos, I donā€™t have to get loud, thereā€™s no cussing or panic.

This session is about coming and working your dog, practice training and getting socialization.

The best part in my biased opinion? I get to have my dogs out and do some training with them. If youā€™ve seen Frank recently, or ever, you know he could use it! šŸ˜‚

Iā€™m partially teasing-heā€™s a good boyā€¦who could use some work.

I will have some stations set up and some challenges for people to do and work on with their dogs. I can also throw out suggestions if you want a little support.

Friendly reminder that dogs do need to be vaccinated to join in. We want to see Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. A flea and tick preventative is also required. Please reach out with any questions about this.

So thankful for my dogs and all they give me-especially the humor they bring into my life.

I canā€™t get enough of Lunaā€™s overbite and her little teefers that show. This morning I took a picture of her and it ended up a screensaver that is absolutely cracking me up.

I thought I would share it with you guys.

Havenā€™t done a live video in forever!

But I thought I would jump on real quick and talk about the In Home Session I just did.

I have people exercises, challenges and/or skills to work on, set a timer, helped talk and give some things to do and keep in mind, then got some feedback.

The session is short-30 minutes, which is great for after a long day. The thirty minutes really fly by.

Itā€™s a structured and supportive way for you to work your dog in your home and at any level.

All from the comfort of your home! As much as I love my in person sessions, as a homebody and an introvert, Iā€™m loving the from home training!

Plus it gives you an opportunity to work on things we practice in class in the environment you need it in!
