It might be witchy season, but for a lot of our furry patients, it’s also ITCHY season! 🎃🐾

🍂 Fall allergies can leave dogs and cats scratching, licking, and feeling downright uncomfortable.

If your pet is itching more than usual, don’t let them suffer through spooky season! Our team can help identify what’s causing the itch and find the right treatment to bring them some much-needed relief.

📞 Give us a call to schedule an appointment and say BOO to the itch! 👻

Meet Dr. Dellinger! 🐾

A Cecil County native, Dr. Dellinger earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Ursinus College before graduating from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.

She spent more than 20 years practicing small animal medicine in Harford County and is excited to be joining the team at Chestertown Animal Hospital — and especially excited to be working with Dr. Scofield again!

Dr. Dellinger still calls Cecil County home with her husband, Barton, their two children, two dogs, Sadie and Lambert, and two cats, Snorkel and Zeke. When she’s not caring for patients, you can usually find her baking, hiking, spending time outdoors, or cheering on her kids at their sporting events.

Please help us give Dr. Dellinger a warm welcome to CAH! 💙🐶🐱

POV: it’s your puppy’s very first vet visit 🐾🤍

Those first few appointments come with a lot of excitement… and usually a lot of questions. That’s why we take our time.

At Chestertown Animal Hospital, puppy visits are all about helping your new best friend feel safe and comfortable while giving you the time to ask everything on your mind. From vaccines and nutrition to training, behavior, preventatives, and all the little “is this normal?” questions—we’re here for it.

No rushing. No silly questions. Just plenty of treats, puppy snuggles, and a team that knows puppies. 🐶

We love getting to be part of their story from the very beginning. 🤎

Attention, cat parents! 🐱📣

We want the inside meow. 😹 What’s something your cat does that would totally surprise us?

A weird habit? A secret talent? A completely unhinged daily ritual? 😂 Tell us in the comments — we’re feline like there are going to be some good ones. 👇
