Socrates flirted thru the fence with his trio, bc he is less pushy I want to avoid the gals getting overly excited and play fighting. This way it builds his interest & confidence without bruising his ego or making him shy of them 🥰

Floki got to visit his gals today 💓 I have like 20 discarded vids bc he was so excited to be with me, but there's girls, but wait MOM is HERE, but there's GIRLS!! 🤣

Now thru Fri I will be in my "it's too effin hot" mode

Only necessary tasks will be done, any projects that can wait until after the heat (& the rain following it) are on hold.

~5-8am do outside things
do inside things (hide in AC)
~6-9pm do outside things

The boys are loving being in the pond field bc it is across the driveway from the 3 paddocks with their harems 🤩

They're all going into rut & the p*e stains are starting to get foul 🤢

Once the heatwave breaks I'll start taking each boy for a walk on leash to visit his GFs every day or so. The better they know each other the more cooperative "D" Day is 😜

Getting as much done as possible before the heatwave sets in for a couple days 🥵

OV Sync starts in 1.5wks...... they will get a shot 1x a week for 3 wks (of alternating hormones) to get them cycling on the same day

1st brings them in heat
2nd has them ovulate
3rd brings them back in heat

The Boys go in & after a few days of "exposure" the gals get their 4th shot to have a synchronized ovulation with the boys

🤞☺️🤞 Hopefully 13 concieve together so they can all kid together Jan 3rd!!

Top of my list was doing a temp patch on a fence that took a hit in last night's storm & spraying wasps in all the gates!

Then I could start the goats' Herd Health & Moving Day.
