Hey friends!!

I just wanted to let my customers that frequent the Chesterfield County Farmers Market know that I have decided not to attend this year. You can still find my treats in the usual stores.

I will miss all of my furry friends for sure!!

People have asked if this is health related, thankfully no! I’m just going into a bit of a different direction with Wigglebutts.

I’m entering into a not-so-new-to-me adventure that will be pretty demanding. I previously owned an auto glass business for 20 years and have decided to get back into it. So with that being said, if you have a need for some glass, look me up. River City Glass will be up and running in June.

Yalll! They have the cutest farm stand, and guess what??? You can find all flavors of Wigglebutts in there (along with other tasty things!) So, if you’re thinking about taking a nice fall drive down a country road, check out my friend’s place, just do it, go on!

So, yesterday we set up at the Chesterfield Animal Shelter. It was SO much fun watching all of the dogs skip past our booth, on to their next greatest adventure. I knew I shouldn’t go in and look around, everyone else knew it too!
Well, meet our new old man, “Carl Fredricksen”

🏕Camp K-9 & Friends Adoption Event⛺️🐾

We will be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, August 2nd from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. This camp-themed event will take place at the Animal Shelter located at 9300 Public Works Road. We will have food trucks, vendors, kids games, arts & crafts, and more! All adoption fees are waived! You will be able to walk through the facility and view all the adoptable pets. Every adoptable animal is already spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs), and FELV/FIV tested (cats). The majority of our adoptable animals are dogs. We will update everyone closer to but we will have few to no cats available. They all got adopted at our Whisker Wonderland event! 😺

With the many dogs currently on stray hold, medical hold, or awaiting spay/neuter, we have 97 dogs in our facility. We desperately need to make space! If you aren't able to open your home for a new pet, please share this post far and wide to help get the word out!

I knew when we lost our sweet boy Flash to cancer in February, that I wanted to do something in his honor. The healing powers of mushrooms intrigued me. So with the help of my friend Steve Haas of HaaShrooms “Zoomie Shroomies” will be hitting the shelves in May!

This is the type of cancer that took our sweet boy, Flash. It started with a loss of appetite, and a week later, he was gone. We had no warning, It’s like a silent killer. The exact cause isn’t really known, which is extremely unsettling. They do know that certain breeds are predisposed.

One in every 3 dogs will develop cancer, but we must stay vigilant, and not lose hope. Be mindful of the quality of their food, chemicals on your lawn, grooming products that contain known carcinogens, and toxic household cleaners.

Friends, today my heart is broken. We lost one of two original Wigglebutts mascots. Flash was my soul dog, my ride or die. He went just about everywhere with me. Never assume that you have tomorrow with them, because it’s not guaranteed. Hold those fur babies close y’all. Spend every moment you can with them. Give them the good stuff, the hugs and kisses. When they greet you so happily at the door, tell them thank you for being the bestest friend.

Fly high Flash, we love you and we’re so devastated. Cancer, you suck.
