Adding a highโquality omegaโ3 to your catโs routine can support their skin, coat, joints, and overall comfort. Omegaโ3 fatty acids help reduce inflammation, support heart and brain health, and keep coats soft and shiny. โจ

โAs obligate carnivores, cats rely on biologically appropriate fats to maintain health at a cellular level. Omegaโ3 fatty acids, especially EPA and DHA, play a critical role in controlling inflammation, supporting skin and coat quality, maintaining joint mobility, and promoting kidney, immune, and cognitive functionโฆ targeted supplementation can help bridge that gap and support longโterm wellness.โ
Obviously, Iโm not a veterinarian, and I always encourage you to speak with your vet if you have any concerns about introducing a supplement. What I ๐๐๐ share is that Iโve spent a lot of time researching and educating myself on arthritis โ both because my own cat struggles with it and because so many of the cats in my care show signs of joint discomfort. When I gently maneuver cats into different positions, I can feel, hear, and see the stiffness in their joints, and it makes me think constantly about their comfort.
I want every cat who visits me to feel as comfortable as possible, and thatโs why Iโm sharing a supplement I genuinely believe has the potential to support their mobility and ease some of that everyday stiffness. Itโs something I feel good recommending as an option for owners to consider. A supplement isnโt a cure โ itโs simply an aid that supports their overall health.
Iโm sharing three different omegaโ3 options not because one is superior, but because cats are famously picky. If your cat turns their nose up at one, it doesnโt necessarily mean they wonโt tolerate omegaโ3 โ it may just mean they donโt like that particular fishโoil base. You might need to try a different source. I had to do this with Mango; she wanted nothing to do with anchovy oil but gladly accepts the caviarโoil base. If your kitty deals with dandruff, stiffness, shedding, or just needs a wellness boost, omegaโ3s are a simple daily upgrade with big benefits. ๐ป
Healthy inside = gorgeous outside.
๐จ๐ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐๐ค ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ Introduce omegaโ3 slowly and gradually work up to the recommended daily amount. Pure fish oils can cause stomach upset if added too quickly. Start with just 1โ2 drops and increase gradually. You do ๐๐๐ก want to deal with loose stool โ trust me, I made that mistake in the beginning and felt awful about it. Terrible cat mom moment, lol.
