WyteRose Samoyeds WyteRose is located in Chester, MD. We are proudly building our family one FOREVER HOME at a time! What were we doing wrong? It happened to us.

We started our journey into the fabulous world of Samoyeds in 2010. Like most of you we started shopping for a Samoyed Puppy using the various lists provided by all the fabulous looking sources available on the web. Every breeder on those lists either never called back, had nothing to offer, and/or a long waitlist. Like many of you we began to wonder why was it so hard to find a Samoyed Puppy? Our

kids were getting impatient and we were getting frustrated. The answer to that question was simple: We needed to stop searching for a puppy and shop for a breeder. I know that sounds ridiculous to shop for a breeder and not a puppy, but it turned out to be very important. Dishonest breeders prey on the desperate puppy buyer. Desperation tends to create the perfect storm for an unfortunate scenario to take place. The phrase “May the odds be forever in your favor” applies to the risk you are taking when buying a puppy from the first breeder that says “yes”. We fell victim to a high-end puppy mill. The signs were all there but we did not see them. There are some people that do not care about where they get their puppy from as long as it appears healthy and everyone is happy then the “no harm was done” mentality justifies the means to the ends. Our own frustration blinded us as well. Instead of sweeping our mistake under the rug, we decided to use our experience to educate people who are trying to find a Samoyed puppy. Fortunately for us we learned from our mistake and found mentors that were willing to help us find the right two Samoyeds to not only participate in the dog show world, but to begin our own branch on the “Samoyed Tree of Life”. WyteRose Samoyeds was founded on the principle that we remain a small family owned and operated kennel and that we make sure every puppy that we put on this planet was given it’s best shot at a great life. We do this through education, seminars, earning AKC Championships, health screening, applicant screening, and educating ourselves and our buyers. We still offer honest guidance and advice to people that contact us about puppies. We are not greedy and we try to offer our advice openly and freely. It is in our opinion that if we arm each puppy buyer with the right information, then they will find the right kennel that suits their timeline/needs. Dear WyteRose Family, Friends, and Social Media Fans,

It with great sadness that we learned today of the passing of the very first WyteRose to grace our hearts, Pink of our Premier Litter (aka Sody). She wasn’t supposed to survive her first week due to an underdeveloped cerebellum, but we worked hard as a family and gave her 8 wonderful years with her owner.

Sody lived a full life despite her physical limitations and even went on to become her owner’s self trained service dog. Her life touched many and she developed quite a fan club at home and wherever she traveled with her owner. Despite getting the best care possible Sody died of complications from diabetes and there was nothing the Vet could do without causing unnecessary pain. Sody’s family and neighbors held a wake in her honor and to know that she touched so many lives in her short time with us is heartwarming to all of us at WyteRose.

Sody is survived by her Dam, Sadie Mae (CH TOBIL’S FIRST DANCE AT WYTEROSE, Service Dog) and her two littermates Houdini (Orange Boy) and Steele (Purple Boy). Please pray for her owner as he continues on without his beloved companion and service dog.

We have a very unique and special opportunity available for our Magic Touch Samoyed Families. One of our long time Samoyed owners has had to return several (all females) of their beloved samoyeds to us due to a terminal medical diagnoses. The girls are all safe and happy with us but looking for forever families. If you have room in your home and heart for one of these girls please contact me privately via text for more details. We are looking for forever homes only not foster homes as we do not want them bounced around….
