Countless laughs, friendships, victory passes and memories.

We survived the heat, the rain, the almost tornado 🌪️ and the chaos that comes with putting on a horse show of this size.. and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

For four days, the fairgrounds were filled with beautiful horses, proud owners, dedicated trainers, cheering families, late-night laughs, exhibitor parties, victory passes, and all the moments that make this show so special.i

A show like this doesn’t happen by accident. It takes incredible judges, an amazing show staff, a hardworking committee, generous sponsors, and an army of volunteers working behind the scenes to make everything come together.

But what truly makes the NEFHC Horse Show special is all of you. 💜

The exhibitors who travel across the country to be here. The owners who believe in our show. The trainers who support their clients. The sponsors who invest in our future. The volunteers who give their time. The spectators who cheer from the rail. Every single one of you plays a part.

This wasn’t just our biggest show ever.

It was a reminder of how strong, passionate, and supportive the Friesian / Horse community truly is.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making the 2026 NEFHC Horse Show one for the record books. We are incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, and we’re already excited for what’s next.

As we settle back into our normal routines after an unforgettable weekend, we're reflecting on what an incredible time we shared at the 2026 Northeast Friesian Horse Council Classic Horse Show.

With 390+ entries, this year's show was one of the largest open horse shows in New England, and we're incredibly proud to have been part of it.

This year's show tested all of us. From microbursts with downed trees and power lines to schedule changes and delays, our horse show community demonstrated incredible grit, flexibility, and teamwork. Exhibitors, volunteers, officials, and staff came together, adapted, and kept the show moving forward despite every challenge thrown our way.

This year, we were thrilled to partner with Propensity to host our annual exhibitor party, celebrate accomplishments in and out of the ring, witness the successful launch of the inaugural NEFHC Youth Contest, and see the debut of the Ranch Division at the NEFHC show. It was exciting to watch our community continue to grow while embracing new opportunities for exhibitors of all ages and interests.

The ribbons are wonderful, but what makes this show special is the people. We are grateful to be part of such a supportive, encouraging, hardworking, and genuinely fun community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's show such a success. We had an absolute blast and can't wait to do it all again next year! 🎉❤️🐴

☀️ Summer camp spots are going fast! 🐴

We’re getting excited for another summer at Matt Mazza Training Stables and our camp weeks are starting to fill up!

If your child loves horses (or wants to learn), this is a great chance to spend the week riding, learning horsemanship skills, helping around the barn, making friends, and having fun.

Camp includes:
Daily riding, horsemanship & stable management, mini clinics, crafts & games, and more!

• July 6th–10th
• July 20th–24th
• August 17th–21st

📆Ages 6–16 | Monday–Friday | 9am–3pm

The youth riders at MMTS are excited to support the 2026 NEFHC Youth Contest! 🐴✨

We’re looking forward to encouraging young equestrians, celebrating sportsmanship and horsemanship, and helping create a fun and supportive experience for the next generation of riders. We can’t wait to see this program continue to grow!

The Northeast Friesian Youth Contest is officially open for sign-ups! 🎉

We are so excited to launch this new opportunity for youth exhibitors and horse lovers to learn more about the Friesian breed, build confidence, and compete in a fun and educational environment. This contest is designed to encourage horsemanship, sportsmanship, leadership, and breed knowledge while bringing together youth who share a passion for Friesians.

The contest will include:

🐴 A judging portion
📚 A written knowledge exam
🎤 A speech presentation
✍️ A written pattern exercise

Divisions are available for multiple age groups, with scholarship opportunities available for senior participants. Whether you are brand new or already experienced, we encourage all youth to participate!

🏆🐴 Congratulations to Audrina Zirpolo & HDP Stetson! 🐴🏆

Audrina and Stetson had a fantastic outing at the NHHSET show last Saturday, earning 1st and 2nd place in their rail classes and 3rd place in Western Dressage.

We’re very proud of this team and the hard work they’ve been putting in at home- it’s great to see that dedication paying off in the ring.

MMTS is a proud sponsor of the Bow High School Equestrian Team, and we’d like to congratulate all of the riders on a great show last weekend.

As we start to move out of the cold winter months and look ahead to spring and summer, we’re excited to announce that the MMTS Summer Camp Program is now open for registration!

Join us for a fun and educational week filled with daily riding and equine-focused learning activities, designed to build confidence, skills, and a love for horses.

Early drop-off and late pick-up available for an additional fee.

✨A Special Night for Team MMTS ✨

After a quiet winter stretch, it was wonderful to gather with the Friesian community last night at the Northeast Friesian Horse Council 2025 Year-End Awards Banquet.

Team MMTS was honored to bring home 32 year-end awards across a variety of divisions, recognizing the dedication and accomplishments of our incredible horses and riders throughout the season.

We’re also especially proud of Parker and Valeria Crossley, who were recognized with the Volunteer Award for their contributions to the Friesian community. Their generosity and support truly embody the spirit of this organization.

MMTS is proud to be actively involved in the association, with Matt Mazza serving as President of the NEFHC and Steph Burke serving as Secretary, helping support the organization's work to promote and strengthen the Friesian community.

Moments like these remind us how grateful we are to be part of such a passionate and supportive group. Congratulations to all of our riders, owners, and horses. We are so proud of this team.

Now we look ahead with excitement to the 2026 season and everything it will bring. 🖤🐴
