Happy Veterinary Technician Week! Thank you Brittany and Jessie for all that you do for Centralia and our patients. They both have a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and compassion for their profession.
Brittany, LVT has been with Centralia since 2017, is our Assistant Manager, and has experience working in veterinary neurology and ER. She also serves as the mentor of our 5 LVT students and facilites technican rounds to discuss various topics. She loves watching people develop skills and take pride in their work while being excited by learning and improving. "Being able to help someone grow and feel more confident in what they do is one of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine".
Jessie, LVT has been with Centralia since August 2025, has been licensed for 11 years, and has worked in veterinary medicine a total of 25 years! She brings her experience from ER, oncology, surgery and neurology. She started as a 16 year old kennel attendant and worked in every role in the hospital, including manager. Her proudest moment was "watching a burn/smoke inhalation dog walk out of the ICU 10 days after the owners lost everything in a house fire, knowing that I was one of the LVTs that cared for him."
We literally cannot do this without you. Please say hello to them next time you are in the hospital.
