This Friday are our monthly Free Visits. There are no hayrides but we are offering short horse rides for $5. A reminder if you plan to fish no license is required but bring your own pole and bait ( night crawlers work best) ! Admission is free but donations are appreciated to help keep our animal sanctuary open and thriving. We will see you soon!

The weather is finally cooperating and we are ready for a beautiful and busy day this Saturday May 30th!
Public visits from 10 am to 2 pm and Country Dancing from 7pm to 10 pm. Food trucks will be on-site for both events. Our events Saturday are family friendly however our nighttime Country line dancing anyone under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. For Play Somethin’ Country you can bring your own cooler of drinks, alcohol is permitted, and bring folding chairs or picnic blankets as tables are limited.

It takes a lot to run and keep a rescue and animal sanctuary open and thriving so please come make memories while supporting our cause, all proceeds benefit the animals that call Shoofly home!

Get your boots in order to do some scootin’ here down on the farm this Saturday the 30th from 7pm to 10 pm. Admission is at the gate, $10 per person, all ages welcome but anyone under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your own cooler of drinks and folding chairs for seating. We accept cash, card Venmo and CashApp, all proceeds support our animal sanctuary! will be here giving lessons and leading the dancing. Food trucks on-site for your meal needs. It’s gonna be a fantastic night so don’t miss it!

Remembering those who gave all. Even when the state of our country is not ideal, we will never forget we are the home of the free because of the brave and honor those who sacrificed everything.

If the rain decides not to show up on Memorial Day we invite visitors to show up and enjoy a beautiful day of remembrance on the farm! Let’s hope Virginia does what it does so well and the forecast changes at the last minute.

Rain doesn’t stop our military or first responders when they serve our community and it won’t stop our efforts to raise money to assist them so even with tomorrows forecast our fundraiser for Boulder Crest Foundation is still happening!
Come out for our Memorial Ceremony, take time to view and pay respect to the 100 fallen soldiers from Virginia we have memorialized by our pond, do some line dancing under our pavilion, grab a bite to eat from the Veteran owned smoke truck and consider donating what you can to this wonderful cause! We are here for this and we hope you will be too!

Yes even adults book unicorn mini-shoots and they are just as magical. We still have some space in June so follow the link in the comments. Half of the money earned goes directly to support the unicorn and all his furry friends here at our sanctuary!

We are excited about this very special Saturday here at Shoofly! In honor of Memorial Day we have teamed up with The Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club to raise funds for Boulders Crest Foundation helping Veterans and First Responders with P.T.S.D.

Admission is free to the farm however we ask you to consider making a donation to this very noble cause while visiting. We are open 10 am to 3 pm. In addition to our regular farm offerings we will have Cowgirl Up here teaching line dancing from 1pm to 3 pm and not only your favorite Shoofly horses but Steel Horses ( motorcycles) on display for your viewing. Smok2Go, a Veteran owned food truck will be here for your BBQ needs.

We will also be open Monday for Memorial Day from 10 am to 2 pm.
