Ninja Browne - also known by his stage name Ninja P. Poodlepants - was born in 2011 along with his two brothers, to mom Cookie and dad Creamy. He was adopted by the Browne-Silli family at the age of 8 weeks and quickly became an integral member of the family.
Ninja loved to play, especially with balls. He was a master at fetch, and would return the ball again and again as long as he wasn’t impeded by his sister Zoe who would steal the ball and taunt him with it. He also liked to pretend to kill things with his fierce terrier head shake. His dream of shaking a real critter never came to fruition although he once caught a live rabbit but it screamed and startled him so he let it go.
He was a protector of the house and swore an oath to defeat any delivery people who had the audacity to ring the doorbell.
He loved to cuddle and never met a lap he wouldn’t sit on. Many a time the person with the lap would forgo going to the bathroom for hours out of fear of disturbing him. Ninja was soft and fluffy and an expert at being a comfort whenever anyone was feeling down. He was a small dog but delighted in somehow taking up a huge percentage of a king-sized bed by stretching as far as he could, somehow defying the laws of physics.
Ninja often sat at the table and expected to be fed like a person, because he believed he was one so who were we to argue? He could often get what he wanted by sheer force of will, like by staring at a bag of treats for twenty straight minutes until someone gave him one.
He had a modest Instagram following and on there and in real life everyone loved him, no exceptions.
Ninja left this world on July 19, 2022 after a brief illness and complications from surgery. He was here for a moment, and then he was gone, but in that short time he brought joy and love and energy to a family who will never forget him. He was a special dog and a Very Good Boy.
