Goatsplosion! 🐐💥

All 4 of our does in the latest round of kidding successfully produced twins within the last 2 weeks! 🙌

Keller had a buckling and a doeling on 5/16

Rella had a buckling and a doeling on 5/21

Kinder also had one of each on 5/22

And Roni had two doelings on 5/25

They all got some outside time to play together today. Roni's two little gals came to inspect the camera there near the end and the one gave us that cute little goat sneeze.

Kellers and Rellas are already in the public pens ready for visits! The others won't be far behind 🙂.

Kitty City is back!!

And it's only getting better with time. The kitten bays have gotten a makeover. New windows, new paint , decorations and temperature control! Will be a great place to relax with these fuzzy buddies and enjoy some AC this summer 😎.

We have gotten several litters in from around the community recently and they are being weaned and are ready for visits! In the video is a litter of 5 that came from the barn of a family friend. They are catnapping together all the time!

Another round of goats! Our girl Mickey had a single girl to round out the latest group of pregnancies.

First are Palmers twin doelings. Sleeping in the sun. The things these goats can do with their necks during nap time almost looks unnatural at times!

Next are Sailors twins. A brother and sister. The brown one is a buckling and the white one is a doeling. Resting on big bro.

Last is Mickey and her single doeling. Looking straight into the camera. She is moving back out with the rest of them into the main herd today!

Piglets!! Our Kune Kune pig June had a litter of 6 last month. We have recently separated the 4 males and they are now in the baby barn ready for visitors!

Watching these little fellas at meal time is always a treat. They dive into a pan of milk as if it's their last meal! Jockeying for position, flipping each other, all while taking in as much as they can at the same time. You'd think we aren't feeding them! Don't worry, we are.. alot 😊.

These guys are ready to crawl right into your lap. If you've experienced our Kune Kune piglets here at Bergey's you know what we're talking about! They will actually nap in your lap.

Yoga's back! We are hosting our first yoga class of this season this Saturday 4/18 at 9am. This year baby lambs are joining the class! will host. Piglets and goat babies will be there too!

It's interesting seeing different species interact when they get together. The piglets are the youngest and smallest between the three groups but they already go where they want! The goats and lambs move out of their way. Like George Orwell's Animal Farm.. they run the show!

Hayrides! After some deliberation we have decided to start including them with the general admission price for Saturdays in the spring. That also includes the rest of this week for spring break!

Also! The Cool Uncle is coming with his FOAM PARTY on Friday and Saturday to send off spring break right! If you've never experienced this he brings a huge foam machine and plays some jams and DJs for the kids while they rock out in the foam. It's a blast!

Here is our daily schedule for the rest of this week!

Thursday

Petting Zoo 9 am - 6 pm

Pony Rides 11 am - 5 pm

Baby lamb bottle feedings 11 am and 3 pm

Hayrides (included with admission) 11 am - 5 pm

Friday and Saturday

Awww goaties!! The babies just keep coming over here 🙌! This time, goat kids. 3 of our Pygmy/Nigerian Dwarf cross mamas gave birth within the last 2 weeks.

The first slide is our goat Trailmixes little twins. A buckling and a doeling. The girl with the black shoulders is so small!

The next two slides depict Cammy's twin bucklings.

In the last slide are Maggie's. A buckling and a doeling , coming to say hi to the camera.

They have all graduated to the outside pens and are waiting on visits from y'all. Throw a jacket on Saturday and say waddup!

Bunnies! One of our lionhead rabbits, Nancy, had this litter of 7 a few weeks ago. We let them out to play in the grass earlier this week. It was a pleasure to watch them navigate a new surrounding! Cautious steps forward, subtle head movements to look over the grass, one or two would venture off alone then ultimately decide to rejoin the group. They were visibly unsure!

Now just yesterday we have opened them up to being able to be visited by the public. If it suits, come say hi! What a gorgeous weekend we have shaping up too!

Meet Fred and the gang! We picked up 3 katahdin ram bottle lambs from another farm this past weekend. They had bonded with the white one and named him Fred, we are just gonna stick with that!

There is some other new faces here at the farm as well. And more on the way! It's that time of year y'all, the sun starts feeling warmer, the days are getting longer and we start to see new life all over the farm. We are so here for that, always magical. Come enjoy it with us!
