I'm not nearly as active on my social media as I used to be, but I did want to take the time to reach out to everyone and let them know what's been going on.

Last week we lost my father-in-law, a sweet man that was the head of a family that became a part of my own 20 years ago. To say it hit hard is an understatement.

I appreciate everyone who has been respectful and understanding with having to wait and/or reschedule their appointment. I will reach out to you when I'm ready and able to reschedule, but first and foremost I'm spending time together with the people I love.

If anyone needs grooming services immediately, I can recommend some local groomers in the comments that I'm sure will be happy to take care of you.

We are running back to normal this week! Power is restored! It looks a bit like a "destruction zone" as the hurricane blew the privacy fence away as well as part of the roof of my house but we are grateful it wasn't worse πŸ’• I hope everyone is feeling a little bit more normal this week ❀️

A few 🌟 announcements 🌟

Beginning November 1st there will be a price increase of $5 for bath services and $10 on full grooms.

I am starting to work myself back into grooming but am unable to just go back 100% right away. I still have several upcoming Dr appointments as well as a surgery in the near future. Jessica and I both have to pick up our kids from school everyday so it's also important that everyone picks up on time. Please be patient and not get offended if we need to move your appointment around. We're doing our best πŸ˜…

Hey everyone!! I have multiple announcements to make! I don't get on here much anymore but have a few things I need to share with you guys 😊

First and foremost I am expecting a little one in September πŸ€°πŸΌπŸ’œ some of you have noticed, some have asked, some have been afraid to ask but I could tell you wanted to πŸ˜… everything is going great I'm just a little slower and wear out quicker lol I plan on working as long as I am able to. I will be starting my maternity leave in September so if you have a prebooked appointment during that time I would go ahead and start making arrangements elsewhere for grooming. My lovely assistant has agreed to work during my maternity leave but she only does baths and nail trims, absolutely no hair trimming. Just let me know if you'd like to keep your appointment for bathing only and I will have a schedule made up for her. I'm not sure exactly how long I will be taking as I can't predict my recovery but I will keep everyone updated.

Secondly, after my maternity leave I will no longer be doing larger dogs. I know some of you were hoping to get back on my schedule but I've decided for my health and safety that this is what's best for me. I've had my tub broken and table broken, as well as my body breaking πŸ˜… I will miss all of the big dogs but after 16 years of grooming I'm ready for things to get a little easier. I will be grooming small dogs only. This will be a lot easier for me to schedule as well because grooming times are a lot easier to predict on small dogs.

Lastly, the part I've been dreading just because LITERALLY everything else has gone up and it's the last thing anyone wants to hear, but beginning in October (or when I come back from maternity leave) my pricing will change. I have tried to be as affordable as possible for as long as I can but this lovely economy has raised the price of all of my supplies and equipment and in order to keep up I'll have to go up as well. I've consulted with multiple other groomers locally and I am seriously undercutting myself.

I also need to stick to my schedule. My biggest flaw is that I am a people pleaser and never say no. I work 2-3 hours after my "closing time" on a daily basis. I even schedule dogs before my opening time. I work on my days off because I try to be as accommodating as possible but all I'm doing is burning myself out and taking time away from my family.

I love all of my clients and I truly hope everyone understands ❀️ It has taken me so long to do this because it's just easier for me to deal with everything than to know I may have upset someone. To anyone that will be finding another groomer, don't hesitate to ask me anything! I will happily share grooming instructions with your new groomer or any tips needed to make your transition easier.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.

I am currently working on the prebooked schedules for 2023. This is a time consuming process and even more so now that I need to be mindful of how many dogs can be in my tiny shop at one time πŸ€ͺ so I definitely appreciate the patience from everyone as I get these finished up and sent out.

A few announcements:

Some may have seen this posted on my personal page but I wanted to keep everyone updated. I've struggled with coming up with the right words to say, but I guess it's just because there aren't any. I haven't worked in over 2 weeks and I know people are worried about me so I wanted to let everyone know that physically I am ok. We were excited and wanted to share that we were expecting but God had other plans and unfortunately we lost the baby. Taking it day by day is the best I can do, thank you to everyone who has checked on us, worried about us, thought about us, and prayed for us πŸ’”πŸ‘Ό

During my time off I decided to move my shop to my home (this has been 2 years in the making but we finally got everything completed). I am no longer located uptown but I'm still local to Cherryville. At this time I will only be keeping my current clients that are on a schedule and will send you my address privately.

For those looking for a grooming appointment before Christmas, I have several wonderful groomers I'd be happy to recommend you to, just shoot me a message.

Hey everyone! I hope you're having a great weekend. I haven't made a post in quite some time! I stay incredibly busy and honestly just don't have time most days to keep up. I have a few announcements to make...

First and foremost, I am having some medical issues and unfortunately will not be working for a least the next week. I know this is a holiday and I am so sorry for the inconvenience this will cause you, but I can assure you I would much rather be working than to be going through what I'm going through. I am also booked for the rest of the year so this makes things even more difficult, as I have no days available to reschedule anyone. I will do my best to keep up with cancellations and try to get people in when/if I have any. I encourage anyone who is able to get in with another groomer to do so (I'd be happy to make recommendations!) It would honestly take a lot of stress off me. I go back to the doctor next Friday and will know more then about a return date. I appreciate everyone's understanding at this time.

Secondly, I am in the process of making some big changes to Tiffani's Uptown Dog Salon. First, I'm dropping the "Uptown" in the name πŸ˜‰ Stay tuned for updates!!

I'm doing my best to reach out to everyone with upcoming appointments. As always, I appreciate my clients so much and just keep me in your prayers ❀️

Hey!! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring weather we're having 🌞 I haven't posted in a while and needed to make a few announcements πŸ€—

I will be closed April 15th - April 25th for the Easter Holiday and Spring Break ✝️🐰🌷

Beginning May 1st I will no longer be accepting payments through payment apps (Venmo, Cash app, etc.) It's just too complicated trying to keep up with who paid when and where, fees for transferring money and making sure the money is deposited into the correct accounts. Please come prepared with Cash or Check when you pick up your dog.

I am always so thankful for recommendations from my clients but I am still unable to take new clients at this time. I have a full schedule and oftentimes it's difficult to get my regular clients in that aren't already scheduled for the year, but I do my best and usually work way past closing or on my days off to fit everyone in.

As always I am super thankful for all of my clients, I enjoy seeing everyone and I hope you enjoy this holiday!
