Going to add a few new furbabie clients to my grooming schedule, so if you have a ((small)) furbabie that has its shots and is on a flea treatment let me know through my page, I also will administer a flea treatment at the time of grooming for a minimal fee. Only taking a few more, so let me know soon.

Adopt a Shelter Pet Day is observed each year and every day. This day was created as a way to raise awareness for thousands of pets that are waiting for (and needing) adoption from the shelters.

Animal shelters require year-round assistance. Adoption is a part of the process. Animals come in daily, and the shelters work quickly to ensure the animal’s health and well being so they can be adopted into their forever home. On National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, visit a shelter near you and find your new fur baby. Visit with the shelter to consider all the needs the dog or cat requires for the long term.

If you feel you can’t meet those needs, consider adopting in another way. Give your time by volunteering. Not only will this help the shelter by providing the animals exercise, companionship and socialization, but it also gives you that wonderful animal love we all so enjoy.

Check the shelter’s donation needs list and bring the items you are able to give. This will help the shelter animals find their forever homes more quickly.

HOW TO OBSERVE

Visit a shelter today and consider adopting. Remember to spay and neuter your fur babies to help reduce the number of unwanted pets in the population. Recent studies show we have made progress in this area. Let’s keep up the good work and take good care of these animals who we consider to be family. Christmas puppies that are usually given up in the months of July and August are in the shelters now because (1. they did not know how to house train them,(2 because they discovered they did not have the time to take care of them for the next 15 yrs. A pet is at least a 15 yr commitment , if you cant commit for that long, do not get a pet. They deserve someone that will put in the time and love.

we have adopted a new baby girl, well she is 4 yrs old, looks just like Missy and acts like her too. she is a sweet loving little creature that is full of pep and fits into our family so well.
