🌾 Your gift goes TWICE as far today! 🌾

If you didn't hear we got a generous match, so now every dollar you give to our Hay Fundraiser will be matched, up to $25,000! It all goes toward keeping bellies full and barns cozy for the 140+ residents all winter long.
When the snow piles up and the pastures go quiet, hay is everything. It’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and straw is the soft, warm bedding the pigs burrow into on frigid nights.

We’re working toward our $50,000 goal, and with this match we’re closer than ever. But the clock is ticking. Double your impact today 👉 https://barnsanctuary.donorsupport.co/page/HayFundraiser2026

☀️ WISHLIST WEDNESDAY ☀️

A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, and for the residents, that spoonful is ORASweet! 💊🍬

Many of the liquid medications our care team compounds for the residents don’t exactly taste great. ORASweet is a flavored sweetening solution that makes those medicines far more palatable, so our pigs, goats, sheep, and more are willing to take what they need to heal and stay healthy.

We use it in so many of our compounded medications, and our supply needs a refill!

🛒 Grab a bottle from our wishlist. It ships straight to Barn! https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/392TWKVSSXXZ1/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex

Every bottle helps our care team get medicine down more easily and with less stress for the residents. Thank you for supporting their care! 💛

We have some incredible news to share! 🐷🐮🐔

A very generous donor has stepped forward with a $25,000 match for our Hay Fundraiser. That means every dollar you give between now and October 30 will be doubled for the animals.

Give $25, and it becomes $50. Give $100, and it becomes $200. Every gift goes twice as far toward keeping the 140+ residents fed, cozy, and warm through the long Michigan winter. ❄️

Our goal is to raise $50,000 by October 30, and with this match, we can get there together. https://barnsanctuary.donorsupport.co/page/HayFundraiser2026

Thank you for showing up for the animals, again and again. They feel your love in every bale.

With gratitude,
The Barn Sanctuary Team

🥣 A bowl of green goodness for the soul 🌿

This Green Goodness Soup is the kind of cozy, nourishing meal that feels like a hug from the inside. Hearty green lentils, tender red skin potatoes, and frozen broccoli simmered in a fragrant veggie broth seasoned with curry, cumin, and basil, then finished with a generous handful of kale.

Why this soup belongs in your regular rotation:
🥬 Kale + broccoli + lentils pack in more greens and plant protein than you'd ever guess from one bowl
🧄 Three whole cloves of garlic
🌶️ Curry and cumin give it a warm, earthy depth that makes it taste like it simmered all day
🥔 Red skin potatoes make it thick, hearty, and satisfying enough to be a full meal

Meal prep friendly, freezer friendly, and just really good on a chilly day. Get this recipe (and so many more!) through Barn's meal planner 👇

We truly couldn’t do all that we do without our Barn Family. So again, from the bottom of our hearts (and on behalf of every snoot, hoof, and feather here) THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🙏❤️

☀️ WISHLIST WEDNESDAY ☀️

Some of our cleaning jobs get DUSTY! 😷

Our team tackles some seriously dusty areas around the sanctuary, and a good face mask makes all the difference for keeping lungs protected while the work gets done. We use these every single day, and we go through them fast!

Help us keep our team breathing easy while they keep the residents’ spaces clean.

🛒 Grab a box from our wishlist. It ships straight to the barn: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/392TWKVSSXXZ1/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex

Every box helps protect the people who care for our residents every day. Thank you for supporting the whole team! 💛
