✨ A Rare Opportunity at Maine Street C***s ✨

**Update! And just like that — Beatrix has her family! And what a joy it is! She will be going with Truman to one of our favorite existing Maine Street C***s families. We are SO happy for her! 💕

For the first time ever, we have an unexpected opportunity to welcome a Maine Street C***s kitten home in time for the holidays!

Due to timing and travel considerations among families on our waitlist, the perfect homes for two extraordinary girls, Beatrix and Charlotte, have yet to present themselves.

These beautiful silver tortie sisters are part of our Great Storytellers litter, born to Birdie and Oscar.

We believe the right match is always worth waiting for. Perhaps their families simply haven’t found us yet. ❤️

The patience of Job. The heart of a mother. 👑

Eight weeks old, and Truman still believes the milk bar should be open whenever he pleases.

And Birdie? She just rolls over, makes herself comfortable, and lets her boy have his way. ❤️

Motherhood is no small undertaking, especially when you’re raising six Maine C**n kittens. Even as they grow more independent, these devoted queens continue to give so much of themselves.

Around here, we know who does the hardest work. And we never take them for granted.

Our handsome little storyteller has a new chapter ahead! Ernest has found his perfect family in Tennessee, where he’ll be known as Smokey. 🤍

Maine C***s are known for their affectionate, people-oriented personalities, and Ernest is already showing us why they’re such extraordinary companions.

For now, we’re soaking up every moment with this sweet boy before his next chapter begins.

✨ Introducing The Silver Screen Society ✨

Every great story has a beginning. This one began in the quiet hours of October 16, when our beautiful Winona welcomed five precious little lives into the world, right on their due date.

Three boys. Two girls. A beautiful blend of shimmering silvers and rich, warm browns. And one extraordinarily devoted mama. ❤️

There is something especially meaningful about this litter. Their father, RW SGC BigMeow OscarWinner, was named with a little Hollywood inspiration and a very big dream. Years ago, my first breeding mentor taught me that they are as you name them. Oscar certainly lived up to his.

Now, his newest little stars are beginning stories of their own.

Meet Frances, Stella, Forrest, Rocky, and Watson. 🎬

For now, their eyes and ears are still closed, their world is wonderfully small, and everything they need is found in the warmth of their mother and the comfort of one another.

The spotlight can wait. Right now, the most beautiful part of their story is simply watching it begin.

Some things in life are simply better in pairs. 🍂❤️

Bella and Beau are enjoying a beautiful Georgia autumn, complete with lakeside views, visiting wildlife, and what might just be the world’s most perfect cat-watching perch.

Their mom, Deanna Matlock, shared this lovely glimpse of life in Brooks, Georgia, and it made us smile.

Here’s something we’re especially proud of: Nearly 40% of our Maine Street C***s families return to welcome a second cat into their homes.

We think that says something special about the companionship these extraordinary cats bring to the people who love them.

There’s nothing quite like watching the kittens we once held in our hands grow into cherished family members. And seeing two of our graduates sharing a wonderful life together? That’s twice the joy.

The milk bar is still open… if you can get to it! 😂🥛🐾

Harper Lee is a girl on a mission, but Mama Birdie has other plans! A little repositioning, a few clever distractions, and anything else she can think of to discourage her determined daughter.

As kittens grow, their mamas naturally begin encouraging independence and gradually weaning them from nursing. At Maine Street C***s, we believe in allowing our queens to guide that process at their own pace.

Of course, Harper Lee didn’t get the memo. And persistence pays off! 😂❤️

The Great Storytellers had their very first veterinary adventure! 🩺🐾

Charlotte, Beatrix, Harper Lee, Daphne, Truman, and Ernest packed up their little personalities and headed out for an important milestone: their first wellness examinations and FVRCP vaccinations!

There were plenty of cuddles, a few opinions expressed, and some very persuasive treats. 😽

Six little storytellers. Six extraordinary personalities. And so many chapters still to be written. 📖
